Hi Victoria,
Thank you very much for your support.
It worked fine. Now I could update Enfold via FTP.
Can I add the new license of Enfold to this forum account or replace the old license by the new one?
Best regards,
zizibe1Hi Peter,
Thank you for your reply.
If I understand you correctly, I only have to replace the api key of the current license of Enfold by the api key of the new license of Enfold to replace the current license of Enfold by the new license of Enfold. Is that correct?
(If you wonder why I want to replace the license, please read my very first post above.)
Best regards,
zizibe1Hey Victoria,
Thank you for your reply.
I created an new Envato account on themeforest.net, bought a new license of Enfold and went to Enfold Child > Theme Options, but I couldn’t figure out where to add the item purchase code. Could you please tell me what to do now?
Best regards,

Thank you for your reply.
I added the code to the top of the Quick CSS field, but unfortunately, I can’t see any difference. The image still is blurry.

Thank you for your reply.
I deleted the original image from WP > Media > Library and uploaded the image on the page “PORTFOLIO”. Unfortunately, it still looks blurry.
Moreover, I tried this: I deleted the original image from WP > Media > Library and removed the gallery element. Then I logged out from WP and cleared the browsing data of Chrome. Afterwards, I logged in to WP, added a new gallery element to the page “PORTFOLIO” and uploaded the image. But the image still looks blurry.
However, the same image on the page “Image_Test” still looks sharp.
What can I do to make the image look sharp on the page “PORTFOLIO”?

Thank you for your reply.
Now the image is sharp :)
I deactivated the theme “Twenty Seventeen” and activated the Enfold Child Theme. Now, the image on the page “Image_Test” still is sharp, but on the page “PORTFOLIO”, the same image still is blurry. What can I do to make it sharp too?

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, the quality of the image was worse when I compressed it by using tinypng.com than when I exported it from Photoshop.
For testing, I activated the WordPress theme “Twenty Seventeen”.
Then I went to:
Pages > Add New > Enter title here: Image_Test > Publish
Appearance > Menus > Edit Menus > check: Image_Test > Add to Menu > Save Menu
Appearance > Menus > Menu Settings > check: Top Menu > Save Menu
Pages > Image_Test > Add Media > Upload Files > Selec Files (I chose a file from my desktop) > Alignment: None > Link To: None > Size: Full Size > Insert into page > UpdateNow, when I go to the page “Image_Test”, the image is displayed smaller than the original size, so I can’t check if the blur issue still persists. What can I do to make the site display the image at its original size?

Thank you for your reply.
I installed the plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails” and went to Tools > Regenerate Thumbnails for all 44 Attachments > checked: “Skip regenerating existing correctly sized thumbnails (faster)” > hard refresh in Chrome, but I can’t see any difference.
Should the images be sharper now?

Thank you for your reply.
No, unfortunately not.
When the image displayed in the “Image Media Element” and in the “Lightbox of Image Media Element” was sharp, the big image of the gallery was blurry, see my second last reply (#993727).
No matter which setting I chose up to now, always one or several of the horizontal or vertical images displayed in the following media elements were blurry:
– Image Media Element
– Lightbox of Image Media Element
– Gallery
– Lightbox of GalleryNo matter which setting I used, always one of these media elements varied in size. Already a slight difference of a few pixels made the image look blurry.

Great! I changed the animation-delay value to 0.4s. Now, the animation works as I imagined.
Thank you very much for your efforts and your patience.

Thank you for your reply.
Okay, if somebody of your team has another idea, I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
In the meantime, I’ll replace all Image Media Elements by galleries.
Best regards,
zizibe1Hi Mike,
Thank you for asking. You can close this topic now.

Thank you for your reply.
Now, the delay is working, but after the fade-in, the caption disappears completely.
How can I fix this?

zizibe1August 6, 2018 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Fullwidth slider caption fading in instead of sliding in sidewards #993908Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
I added the delay to the CSS code. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work as requested.
Now, when you open the page, the caption is already there. After two seconds, the caption disappears and fades in.
But my idea was that when you open the page, there should be only the image visible without the caption. After a brief moment, the caption should fade in.
How can I adjust this?

zizibe1Hi Mike,

zizibe1August 5, 2018 at 6:56 pm in reply to: Remove thumbnail overlay, disable changing of big image, remove first thumbnail #993727Hi Ismael
Thank you for your reply.
I decreased the “Maximum Container width” value. The problem is that this effected not only the Image Media Element, but also the big image of the gallery.
Here are the results:
“Maximum Container width value”: 1299 px
Original horizontal image: 1199 × 799 px
Image Media Element: 1199 × 799 px -> image sharp
Lightbox of Image Media Element: 1199 × 799 px -> image sharp
Big image of gallery: 1185 × 791 px -> image blurry
Lightbox of Gallery: 1199 × 799 px -> image sharpOriginal big vertical image: 705 × 1000 px
Big image of gallery: 676 × 959 px -> image blurry
Lightbox of Gallery: 705 × 1000 px -> image sharpTherefore I removed the css code and went back to my original settings:
“Maximum Container width” value: 1310 px
Original horizontal image: 1196 × 798 px
Big image of gallery: 1196 × 798 px -> image sharp
Lightbox of Gallery: 1196 × 798 px -> image sharpOriginal big vertical image: 682 × 962 px
Big image of gallery: 682 × 964 px -> image almost sharp
Lightbox of Gallery: 682 × 962 px -> image sharpNow the galleries come pretty close to be okay.
As for the blurry Image Media Elements, I think I’ll replace them all by galleries and choose “Big image with thumbnails below” even if there are no thumbnails. Nobody will find out if there’s an Image Media Elements or a gallery. The main point is that all the images are sharp.
Or do see another solution?

zizibe1August 5, 2018 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Fullwidth slider caption fading in instead of sliding in sidewards #993726Hi Ismael,
Thank you for adjusting the animation values and the information about the demo.
I changed 0.6s to 1s to make the animation a little bit better visible.
-webkit-animation: avia_appear_fade 1s 1 ease-in; animation: avia_appear_fade 1s 1 ease-in;
Now the animation almost meets my expectations. My idea is that when you open the page, for a brief moment – maybe 1s or less – there’s only the image visible without the caption. Is there a possibility to increase the time interval between the opening of the page and the beginning of the animation?

zizibe1August 2, 2018 at 12:06 am in reply to: Fullwidth slider caption fading in instead of sliding in sidewards #992623Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
As I mentioned in my last post, I already set the opacity to “0”:
@-webkit-keyframes avia_appear_fade { 0% { opacity: 0; } 100% { opacity: 1; } } @keyframes avia_appear_fade { 0% { opacity: 0; } 100% { opacity: 1; } }
I also checked the link you mentioned, but as far as I can see, they did the same.
Still, my impression is that the animation of my website isn’t exactly like the animation of the Enfold Flat Business Demo. Are the values really the same?

zizibe1August 1, 2018 at 3:23 pm in reply to: Remove thumbnail overlay, disable changing of big image, remove first thumbnail #992441Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
I resized the image to exactly 1199 × 799 px and uploaded it.
Here are the results:
Original image: 1199 × 799 px
Image Media Element: 1210 × 806 px -> image blurry
Lightbox of Image Media Element: 1199 × 799 px -> image sharpNow, it’s the other way round: The image displayed in the Image Media Element is slightly blurry while the same image displayed in the Lightbox of the Image Media Element is sharp. As you see, the Image Media Element displays the image bigger than the lightbox. This effects the sharpness of the image.
As a designer, the sharpness of the images is very important to me because I want to present them to my clients with the highest quality possible. So the Media Element and the Lightbox of the Image Media Element should display the image the same size.
How can I fix this?

zizibe1Hi Mike,
Thank you for your reply.
The code works, but I had to change the color to #9a2912 (“dark red”) because my wish for the desktop menu was:
– black font: when you don’t hover on a menu item
– grey font: when you hover on a menu item
– red font: the menu item of the page you’re right on when you don’t hover on it
– dark red font: the menu item of the page you’re right on when you hover on itNow, there’s the following issue: When you move the cursor away from the menu item, for a brief moment, it changes its font color from “dark red” to grey and only then to red. But the menu item should change its font color immediately from “dark red” to red.
How can I fix this?
Best regards,
zizibe1Hi Mike,
The issue concerning the other topic with the title “Burger icon hover color” is solved. So I’ve activated the desktop menu. Now, I’m ready for this topic.
Back to my concern:
I have a wish concerning the font color of the desktop menu when I’ll chose “Display as text”. The current colors are:
– black font: when you don’t hover on a menu item
– grey font: when you hover on a menu item
– red font: the menu item of the page you’re right on when you don’t hover on itThat’s okay. I want to keep it this way.
But I would like to complete it like this:
– dark red font: the menu item of the page you’re right on when you hover on it
In the mobile menu, it’s already like this. That’s why I want to have it for the desktop menu too when I’ll choose “Display as text” .
How can I achieve this?
I didn’t find a way to adjust this in Enfold Theme Options > Advanced Styling. Therefore it would be great, if you could assist with css.
Best regards,
zizibe1Hi Vinay,
Perfect. Thank you very much for your support and your patience.

zizibe1July 26, 2018 at 10:59 pm in reply to: Fullwidth slider caption fading in instead of sliding in sidewards #990489Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
I set the duration to “1s”. But the animation is not as smooth as in the Enfold Flat Business Demo.
When I open my front page, the caption is already slightly visible. But the caption should come “out of nowhere”. Besides, the transition to full opacity is a little bit abrupt.
I set the the opacity to “0”. But this didn’t really help. I also experimented with the four parameters of the cubic-bezier. But I couldn’t figure out how it’s done in the Enfold Flat Business Demo.
How can I improve the animation of my caption?
Best regards,
