Hi Yigit,
Unfortuantely that did not work. I tried a few variations and the top small bar is still there.
Vincent
Thanks Yigit.

Cheers
VinceAhh I just smacked myself not not noticing :)
Thanks

“In portfolio section is it possible to have some of the portfolio entries as not linked to a page – instead it will be the thumbnail only? The only entries that will have a linked page will be case studies.”
Translated: Cans oem of the portfolio entries be statiuc and not pages just thumbnail images?
Hi Ismael,
In portfolio section is it possible to have some portfolio entries as not linked to a page – rather it will be the thumbnail only? The only entries that will have a seperate page will be case studies.
Thanks

Okay, I updated and flushed and the portfolio setting it is now working as it should.
A question: What is wrong using with using portfolio as the base and and the item and the categopry as an extension of the base like this:domain/portfolio/clients/john-doe
Cheers
VinceThis reply has been marked as private.Okay, we are almost there. Took your code and had it modified which is now creating a static menu udner services. Also had it styled up and looks much better now.
We are still looking at how to style the drop down megamenu – to make the width smaller and the text smaller.
Hi Yigit,
Okay I tried that – the image works and sligns to the right using the 2/5 box. The text aligns to the left using the 3/5 box. The problem now is that the text is not wrapping the image and both content and image are displaying apart.Social links author page
I’m not talking about the social links on the page above. It is the social links under the author bio on the author page. This has the option of adding two social icons from the user control panel but it wont display for some reason ont eh author page? Thanks

This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
You are over complicating it:My question is:
On two of the pages I want to add a team member that is justified right with the text that is aligned left and wrapping the team member. I can’t find a way to do this with the team member photo.
Second question is: I want to add Twitter, LinkedIn and Gogole+ below the authors bio on the authors. It has nothing to with the “Social Share Button” as you suggest as this can’t be used on the authors page.
When creating authors page it is done from the users section. It gives you the opportunity to add social profile buttons. However, they do not appear on the page.
Thanks

Hi Ismael, services is a page. I am using it like a category with nested pages below it. My mistake above I used the incorrect terminology.
Hi,
Thanks for that – unfortunately it doesn look great. I may just have to drop it down to the content.
Thanks anyway
Vince
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Ismael,
That is brilliant. I have been scratching my head trying to get the URL architecture right so it behaves more like a CMS. Thanks to your help the portfolio category is working perfectly now.Regards
VinceHi,
Thanks for your reply. Maybe I am not being clear here. I will explain a little better:The reason that I have /blog/%category%/%postname%/ is because I want all of the posts under blog to have the category blog disaplying in them to distinguish and seperate them from the pages that will have similar categories.
For example:
ON PAGES:
domainname.com/services/marketingON BLOG
domainname.com/blog/marketing/hello-worldIf I remove %blog% from the URL it will become:
BLOG:
domainname.com/marketing/hello-worldThat’s a problem. It is something I need to sort out. Now this theme and it’s maker is pushing this framwork more towards a content management system and these are the kind of issues that you / he are going to be dealing with when it starts getting used more in a professional environment. So rather than sending me off to the stock WordPress site, can you or anyone else help in getting these URL’s to disaplay how I want them?

Unfortuantely, that did not work, probably due to the customisations I have on the preview and snippet.
I understand your point about the space not being enough to display the images. Maybe I think probably best to leave them off then. Thanks
VinceThis reply has been marked as private.HI,
I already have it set-up with portfolio-item in the permalinks.
The problem I am having is it is picking up /blog/ and appending it to the portoflio URL. This is wrong. I already have blog set-up in the blog section here: /blog/%category%/%postname%/ and do not want it in the URL of the portoflo section.
Regards
VincentHi,
Okay thanks I will give that a try.Regards
VinceOne thing I noticed missing is on the mobile version the post preview images are not showing. I checked on a smartphone and nothing there?

Thank you for your reply.
I have enclosed a screenshot of what I want to achieve. The header image starsts in it’s usual palce and stretces across the top of the sidebar.
I don’t want this on every page only the ones I choose.

VinceBTW: How do you get the image to display in this post? It doesnt appear to be displaying when I add it to the image tab.
