Hi Rikard,
I believe I have fixed the issues on mobile and I believe that update yesterday may have helped. (I did the update yesterday afternoon). I may come back to you on the staging site idea soonThanks
VincentOctober 25, 2017 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Update Changed Mobile Menu & Changed Theme Functions #868718Hi Rikard,
I have not changed the name, I had named it that the first time and it was fine until this update. BTW I agree about staging site.
Are you saying that there is nothing that can be done about the mobile menu without contacting a 3rd party? Is there anyone else here that can help with my mobile menu. The problem happened on an update and I have updated this theme multiple times with no issues. It now appears as if it is affecting the homepage only on mobile.
I have fixed the issue with the strange markings appearing.

October 24, 2017 at 12:33 pm in reply to: Update Changed Mobile Menu & Changed Theme Functions #868150Hi Victoria,
BTW this is for the mobile menu only as per my first post above.
Thank you for your response, in answer, yes I did flush the cache – in actual fact several times using a web cache plugin – WP Fastest Cache. However, that made no difference.Adding your code and make a tweak to colour: #fff gave me white text on black background. How would get this to a white background with dark grey text? I tried but it then goes grey again. It also ruined the look of the desktop version menu – I had to remove the code in the end.
Before the update, my mobile menu background was: white with dark grey text (like desktop colour) and menu items already expanded. After the update all menu is broken with items missing.
The case of the strange markings are still there, can someone please address this:

Thanks for the heads-up Basilis
Hi Andy,
Thanks for your response, this is good – it is all we need to keep updated to what is happening rather than being in the dark. Hopefully, the fix won’t be too long now.
Thanks

Hi Victoria,
Unfortunately that is not the case. I have deleted the cache, several times. It still stays the same. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that helps. I have also put in a support request to WP Fastest Cache.
Vincent
“I’m pretty sure, you think the solutions given by mensmaximus did not work, but they did.”
Did you read my comment, that I was going to try it again Victoria?
Furthermore, images are still blurry, so not sure what you are seeing as mensmaximums fix is not on there currently. https://mens.boutique/shop/clothing/shirts/linen-shirts/green-striped-linen-shirt/
In regards to the font, I am suspecting it is a cache issue as when I disable the cache it works, however, on clearing cache is not. I am going to uninstall and reinstall the cache.,

Yes, Kriesi should be obligated to present a solution – though temp fixes are fine, the correct fix should be implemented at core level.
Unfortunately, your solution did not work for me, it didn’t break anything, it simply did not work. I’m going to give it one more try later with WP Fastest Cache switched off completely to see if that works, that may be the issue.
@john, @vinay @kriesi,
Rather than keep skirting around the issue and this forum is full of many instances where you do this pertaining to this subject. How about fixing it and releasing an update that fixes this.example: https://mens.boutique/shop/ ——- LOOK at the size of the font.
@mensmaximums, The fix does not work for us at all and images still blurry .
What I want to see is Kriesi do something about this and not ignore it. It severely diminishes the theme, and I amongst several others are upset that you are willing to ignore it.
We would like our images to be clear again and the large font removed from the categories. The theme is broken, now please fix it.
Hi @mensmaximus, I think it’s only working in Firefox. I have cleared it multiple times. Actually, if I disable WP Fastest Cache then it works and as soon as I re-enable it goes back to being huge font again.
I may have to uninstall it and then re-install a fresh version of WP Fastest Cache
@mensmaximus, brilliant, that worked and titles now appearing normally https://mens.boutique/z/clothing/. I will most certainly implement your image fix later today. Thank you for this.
The question begs, why hasn’t Kriesi implement a fix for this theme? And why has it been left this long?
@vincent did you clear your cache? (WP Fastest Cache) Woo 3.0.3 has fixed the title font size. As long as you do not apply
Yes I did and the browser cache but no difefrence https://mens.boutique/shop/.
I will try the image fix later on today.
Thanks@John, @Vinay @Kriesi,

@mensmaximums, I read your fix and don’t believe it will work for us as we are already at Woocommerce 3.03

We would like our images to eb clear agin and the large font rmoved the categories. The theme is broken, now please fix it.
Hi Vinay,
We have now gone past the date for a rollback. Frankly, it’s shocking that Kriesi has not released a fix for this. I keep reading about temp CSS fixes but nothing solid and it doesn’t fix the category titles.
Example URL below
Thanks
VincentPlease close this. I fixed problem by removing everything and reinstalling.
Thanks
Hi Nikko,
Thank you for your help. I tried that and it made no difference. The overview boxes – some are still uneven.
Thanks
VinceHi Ismael,
Thanks for that code. However, it still did not show up in the font options.
Thanks
VinceHi,
No, you cannot have access as the website is not live and on a local sever. However, I believe you have access to test versions of Enfold at your end.I’ll ask the question again:
I would like to use Palantino font. How do I add this to Enfold fonts. As it is a paid for font it is not in the options and I need a way to make it work on the website.
Apparently, there is an alternative Google font to it: GFS Didiot – however when I try and the php code here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/register-additional-google-fonts-for-theme-options/ it does not show the new font.
Thanks
Vincebump, please.
Hi Nikko,
That would not work as most of the product images come through as a feed from multiple sources. We are talking about hundreds of products and it wold not be feasible.
I believe the fix could be from adjusting the size of the box to facilitate and extra line if need be? Would that work and if so, how?
Thanks
VincentHi Rikard,
The site is not live and on a local server.
I was trying to find a way to make the boxes uniform if some of the display category boxes titles go onto a second line?
Thanks
VinceThanks for your reply – however, that was not my question.
To repeat(I’ll try and be clearer :))
Display subcategory boxes evenly on the overview page. Sometimes the titles go to two lines and it then it increases the size of the box making it uneven with other boxes.
Thanks Vinay,
The code worked exactly. I increased the size to 45px and now there are 2 lines on all boxes with the title and all boxes are even.Thank you and appreciated.
Vince
Yigit,
I have a child theme set-up. What do I to add the header banner to the child theme when you say edit header.php? Thanks
Vince- This reply was modified 7 years, 9 months ago by Vincent.
I don’t need to give you access to my site to answer this question. The boxes are not straight and I provided a screenshot. I did mention that it is not live and cannot give you access.
Hi Vinay,
The website is not live and being built.
The question I asked is
“When I increase the amount of product boxes from 4 to 5, the boxes appear uneven and ones that have a slightly longer title appear a little longer giving the site an uneven appearance.”I have enclosed a screenshot http://prnt.sc/e1mwav
Thanks

Hi Yigit,
Thanks for all of your help, however, I think I am going to give this plugin a try https://codecanyon.net/item/seo-category-and-tag-descriptions-for-woocommerce/13731099
Using the code above back and forth has caused the site to crash several times and make it buggy.
Thanks again
VincentHi Ismael,
It is not working and I have entered it exactly as you have said. All it does is duplicate the content in the top default field and leaves nowhere to edit the new field.
Furthermore, it is not showing in the main shop categories, only shop subcategories.ALSO: This has caused an issue with the site. On the categories in the H! title cannot be seen at all and on the front end it is there but cannot be highlighted as it appears to be ‘stuck’ for want of a better word. Unfortunately, I have had this code in too long for me to perform a rollback. Can you please look at this?
I have included the logins below, thanks for your help.
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for that, it is now sitting flush below the products, which is what I wanted. However, the following issues have popped up!
1. The font is all bold letters
2. There is nowhere to edit the content as the extra field does not show in the category editing panel.
3. This is only working on sub product categories and not product categories. It should be working on both. For example:
a. …..com/shop/shoes/ – it does not work.
b. …..com/shop/shoes/mens-slippers/ – it does work.Thanks
VincentHi Yigit,
How do you mean this code should be edited? Edited to what exactly?add_action ('woocommerce_after_shop_loop', 'avia_product_text'); function avia_product_text() { if(is_shop() || is_tax('product_cat')) { echo '<h2 class="product-extra-title">My title here</h2><h3 class="product-extra-desc">More content here</h3>'; } }
I’m afraid I’m not following you. Previously, when I used that code it never worked and I tried it again and it still does not work.
Thanks
