thanks, but that basically gave me information i already knew lol. It may be that it’s just apple but since i’m using the code they want, i don’t see why iphones wouldn’t be able to read it. I know that weather-tight.com got it to work for them, but reading through their page source i can’t figure out what i’m doing different other than having no div class. They had asked this question previously but the comments are closed, is there a way to look at that reply and see what they did?

never mind, just ended up creating a background image with the color i wanted and added it that way.
