Thank you – I can see the Footer Widgets, but there is no content in the backend. https://app.screencast.com/VktE9mV3wDPEL
I tried with Firefox and Google Chrome – it’s the same.
Now I updated wordpress. I also downloaded a new version (Version 5.6.6) of enfold and installed it via FTP, but when I activate the new theme version on the FTP the site appears blank. Also when I try to choose a PHP-Version more than 7.4.
In the backend of WordPress there are 2 themes of enfold. Version 4.7.6.3 and 4.5.2 .When I try to delete the older version 4.5.2, also an error appears: https://app.screencast.com/iAO7TQpUQiNBP
But I can’t see the uploaded version of Enfold via FTP (https://app.screencast.com/gCjXrerslVMuu).
Do you have an idea to resolve. Would be great. Thank you very much.September 5, 2023 at 8:47 am in reply to: footer widget not visible and not editable in the backend #1418128Thank you Ismael
in Appearance – Widgets – the widgets are visible for the footer – but empty. I will provide you with the login details in the private message. Thank you very much and regards. Thanks – I will follow your recommendations.
Thanks for the informations.
After changing all wp files and loading a new version of enfold, changing login and password – the site worked for a couple of hours, and again is not available. I have seen in the FTP that at night some files were “updated”. I’m really inconsolably and no longer knowing what to do next.Hello Support Team
A website with Enfold was probably hacked. Only 1 empty page was displayed and after WP was reinstalled, the backend could fortunately be accessed again.
The page is now linked by the provider to a subpage, so that it is available. However, Kaspersky displays an error message the first time you call it up, see link: https://www.screencast.com/t/9bz4c3U3.
Also at the bottom of the page there was a widget with a text “built in”: https://www.screencast.com/t/bZBmsjLW – it used to contain the address of the company.
This phone number is included in some websites – when I searched Google: also on Kriesi.at (here a few examples): https://www.screencast.com/t/RNxRfEEJ
It could be that the theme was hacked enfold, because the site is still not running properly. Which measures to take or could you help us further? Thank you for an answer. Yvonne Noser -
