    Hi Yigit,

no I haven’t. I took out the code that I had used previously (which I got from support), so that at least the flags would show.

    li.av-language-switch-item {
    display: none;
    }

If I put the code back in, there is no language visible (previously I had the name of the language: e.g. English and a drop down menu).
Could you please take a look?

    Thanks,
    Julia

Thanks a lot Victoria. That worked fine.

    Hi Yigit,

pls find the screen shot attached. I would just need to know, which style elements refer to the shopping cart dropdown, so I can get rid off the white background/white font option.

    Thanks,
    Julia

    Hi Yigit,
    yes, that worked perfectly.

Could you also tell me which setting changes the links at the bottom from the cart drop down menu. I have been trying many different options, and I either get both background and font in white in the German version, or background and font black in the English version. If I go there with the cursor I get the links to the Cart and the Checkout, but I can’t see it in either version because it’s all black or all white.

    Thank you,
    Julia

in reply to: Cut mega menus & flags in the language switcher #701183

    Hi Andy,

there was a popup form that was causing the issues with the cut menus. The only issue remaining are the appearing flags in the header.

The caching plugin is deactivated at the moment.

    Thank you,

    Julia

in reply to: Slider Pictures are not showing up!!! #701146

    Hi Vinay,

there was a pop up sign up form code in the functions.php file, which created a conflict with the WooCommerce plugin. I removed the code and now the menus and sliders display correctly, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Multilingual are working again.

    Thank you very much,
    Julia

in reply to: Newsletter pop up still appearing #701144

    Hi Ismael,

thanks a lot. The code was in the functions.php file. I was looking for it in the file manager of my hosting provider and could not find it.

It seems that by removing it, the problems with the cut menu had disappeared.

    Thank you very much,
    Julia

in reply to: Slider Pictures are not showing up!!! #701112

    Hi Vinay,

thank you for your message. The plugin creating the problem is WooCommerce. If it’s deactivated the sliders work fine. But this means deactivating my online store!!!

I’ve updated Enfold, WordPress WooCommerce last week and since then the sliders are not working and the flags are in the menu.

Can you please advise how to fix this.

    Thank you,
    Julia

in reply to: Slider Pictures are not showing up!!! #700584

I have the same issue. All sliders (some with photos, some with videos) are not working since the last update. This basically means almost ALL images on my site.

I currently have 5 issues with Enfold since the last update:
    1 – Sliders
    2 – Cut menus
3 – Flags in the menu
    4 – Mailchimp popup
5 – Site breaks when WooCommerce Multilingual is activated
6 – Stripe payment not working

There are a lot of issues, doesn’t seem to be a coincidence, I usually don’t have big problems.
Please look into it as soon as you can.
    Thanks,
    Julia

in reply to: Newsletter pop up still appearing #700187

    Hi Ismael,

we followed the Mailchimp instructions for creating the pop up and then tried to put it in an HTML widget in the footer or in a code block. As it did not work, we removed it. However it keeps appearing (see images from the code …mailchimpsignuppopup and the Cookie for the pop up).

Clients have reported that they see the fold out menus cut off. Since the last update, the menus: Products, Methodology, My Skin and Rituals are cut off. It might have something to do with this.

Please let me know fast, as I need to contact new clients and can’t do this with the site looking like this.
    Thank you and kind regards,
    Julia

in reply to: Cut mega menus & flags in the language switcher #699880

    Hi Ismael,

I have tried to put the code in the Child theme functions.php file, in the Enfold functions.php and in the normal functions.php, but it does not work.

And the menus are still cut. Can you please take a look?

    Thanks,
    Julia

in reply to: Cut mega menus & flags in the language switcher #699008

    Hey Ismael,

thank you for your message. This code is already in the functions.php file of the child theme. Does it have to go into the main theme file?
I have updated the password, it works now.
Any ideas about the cut menus?

    Thank you,
    Julia

in reply to: Newsletter pop up still appearing #684139

    Hi Vinay,
thanks a lot for your response. I have done that and in Chrome it seems to work although I can still see that it is there, when I open the Dev tools. I can’t attach images to this reply, so I copy the text I see:
    Object {pid: 0, mid: “//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/1.0/popup.js”, pack: 0, url: “//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/1.0/popup.js”, executed: 0…}

In the other browsers though, Safari and Firefox, it still appears and worse, sometimes it does not appear, but it blocks the menus, and they don’t work anymore – the submenus don’t show. I have been told from various clients who visited the web for the first time, that they could not access the submenus, so maybe this is what is happening. The image is not loading but the command is there blocking other functions of the website.

In Safari and Firefox, you need to browse around for a while and then the menus block. If you then go back to the homepage, the pop up appears.

    Thanks,
    Julia

    Hi Günter,

I just did another test – I deactivated WPML and the cart buttons are still not working, so it seems to be an issue with the theme?

    Thanks,
    Julia

    Hi Günter,

thanks a lot for your analysis. I have been in touch with WPML and they asked me as well to deactivate all plugins.

There is a problem with the plugin<. WordPress HTTPS -Version 3.3.6 | By Mike Ems If it is activated, the Update cart button only works in English but not in the other languages.
Also there is a problem with + / – buttons of the quantities. They don’t work in any language, no matter if the HTTPS plugin is activated or not. But if you type in a new number directly into the field and then hit Update Cart it works. So it seems that the problem are these + / – buttons.
WPML has asked me to try a standard theme, but I am afraid that switching themes might lead to a loss of settings when switching back. Is this something you could test or does this seem to be a problem with the theme as opposed to WPML?
    Thank you,
    Julia

in reply to: Where to embed code snippet for popup signup form #625621

    Hi Ismael,
thank you for your reply. We pasted the code in the GA tracking field, but it does not work. The pop up doesn’t show.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks,

in reply to: Where to embed code snippet for popup signup form #621164

    Hi,

I am trying to place a mailchimp popup form on my site. I followed the instructions of this thread, but it’s not working (neither the code block, nor adding it to the functions.php).

Also, as we have 5 different languages we want to create a different popup on each language, which links to the different Mailchimp lists for each language.

    Thank you,
    Julia

    Hey Rikard,
    pls find the details attached,
    thank you,

    Hi Yigit,

thanks a lot, with the code it works!!

    Cheers,

in reply to: Install custom font #565409

    Hi Vinay,

I installed the plugin and it works fine. If I go to Advanced Styling I can customize the font size of H1-H6, Menu links, etc. But there is no option to customize the “Default Content Size”. Which option do I need to select to set the default size of body text to 15? (Changing the size in General Styling does not work).

    Thank you,
    Julia

in reply to: Install custom font #564114

    Hey Basilis,

I tried both – the custom.css file of the base theme (as suggested in one of the instructions, because the fonts folder is also in the base theme folder) and the style.css of the Child theme. But the font does not change.

Yes, I use WPML. Since I tried to add the font according to these instructions https://kriesi.at/support/topic/installing-own-fonts/#post-421325. It worked for Futura font, but not Futura PT. I deleted all code and changes again, but since then I can’t save ANY change in the other languages anymore.

    thanks,
    Julia

in reply to: Install custom font #563420

    Hey Yigit,

thanks for the link. I followed all the instructions, but the last one is not very precise “The code can now be included in the beginning of the sites stylesheet and referenced as any standard font would be. It is important to include some additional fonts in case for some reason the browser is unable to display the local one.”

Where do I post the CSS code – in the main theme in
    -Base CSS
    -Custom CSS
    – The child theme in style.css ?

Also – once this is done – will all the fonts automatically appear in the one I uploaded?

And I still can’t save ANY changes to the theme in other languages, e.g. change the font size, or anything in the footer. I can only save changes in English, all other languages won’t save!!!

    Thanks,
    Julia

    Thanks for your help,

in reply to: Error in the menu #541262

    Hi Basilis,

thanks for your reply. Could you specify, what “not set up correctly” means, then I can correct any mistakes there are. It has always worked perfectly until the last update.

    Thanks,
    Julia

in reply to: Error in the menu #541131

    Hi Yigit,

thanks for your message and the article. We can still add items to the English menu without any problem, so it seems that it is not the problem of the menu items limit. Also, it did appear last week right after the latest Enfold update was installed.

I just deleted the entire Italian menu and created it again and now it only shows the English menu on the Italian version.
On the Spanish version it includes a random English page.

Could you look into it please,
    thank you,
    Julia

    Hi Rikard,

we are still waiting for an answer. Our menus are still broken and many sections of the website cannot be accessed. It is affecting the reputation of our business.

Please give us some feedback on the possible error and what your short term and mid term suggestion is. If it means, we have to install a previous version of the theme we can do that, but I would need the appropriate version and would like to do that after knowing if you have identified the problem.

It’s been 3 days now, and I understand that you have a lot of work, but I need a feedback here.

    Kind regards,
    Julia

    Hi Rikard,

it seems you have already made some changes, as some of the languages are working again (English and French). However there are still important errors in the other languages.
In German it lists a menu item from the English menu (Science), when it should say “Methodologie”. In Spanish it includes a product page in English and in Italian it includes all English product pages.

Could you please let me know, what you have been able to find out and fix so far and what the plan is for the remaining errors? In case this will take longer, can you please provide the previous version of the Theme so we can go back to an older version (and disable the automatic update) until this can be fixed. We are afraid that this will negatively affect our reputation and people’s confidence in our site to make online orders. We are currently contacting with many premium retailers, who view our website and their first impressions are very important for us.

Thank you and we are waiting for an update,
    kind regards,
    Julia
