Hi Mike
Cool! Now it works!
But this code is still needed?@media only screen and (min-width: 989px) { .header_color .sub_menu>ul>li>a, .header_color .sub_menu>div>ul>li>a:hover, .header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a:hover, #top .header_color .main_menu .menu ul .current_page_item > a:hover, #top .header_color .main_menu .menu ul .current-menu-item > a:hover, #top .header_color .sub_menu li ul a:hover { color: #be1717 !important; } }

Yes, the hovered menu should be red. With your last code this works.
But then, when I select a menu entry, for example “Dienstleistungen”, this should also be red, when it’s active.
And yes, only for desktops.
For me the submenu hover is ok, perhaps white text would be better, when this is easy to change, only for desktops ;-)

Almost. Now, the hovered menu is red. Also the active menu should be red, then it’s perfect ;-)Best Regards
MikeHi Victoria
Thanks for your responses. Yes, as I wrote in my last answer the only issue that is still open is how to show a small category picture in the sidebar product list widget.
So, which file we have to modify tho show there a small picture of the category? Should look something like the website in the private content.Best regards
MikeHi Jordan Shannon
Unfortunately this code does not work. There is still a border over the social media icons.
We have the same problem with the shopping chart icon on the Smartphones. If we use the floating shopping chart icon only when we have products in it, there is also a border over it.
Thanks very much.

Thanks for the code. With this, all menu items are red. But only the hovered and the active menu items should be red. How the code should look like, for having this effect?October 11, 2019 at 12:53 pm in reply to: Change color desktop menu items when hovered or selected #1147107Or in other words, which color setting we have to change, for that the hover and active menu color changes, but only on desktop menu?
Hi again
For the following issues I found a solution:1. The size of article number and category a little bit bigger on the single product page
2. The active category in the sidebar in another color
3. The sidebar also shown on mobile devices (i.e. at the bottom)The only issue that we still have is this one:
4. Small category pictures in the sidebar product list widget
Perhaps, you can tell us, which file we should overwrite, to put a small image of the category into.Thanks.

MikeOctober 11, 2019 at 12:48 pm in reply to: Change color desktop menu items when hovered or selected #1147103So, when you log in, set the “Logo Area Schriftfarbe” to #be1717, then the color of the menu is in red, when you hover or when it is active. That’s fine and works in all browser (I also use Chrome).
But then, wenn you look the website on a smartphone with the mobile menu, all entries in the mobile menu are red and when you select one you can’t read the text anymore. The problem is only on the mobile menu.
So, perhaps the solution is, to change this “Logo Area Schriftfarbe” only on desktop menu to #be1717?

MikeHi Basilis
The following problems are important for our customer.Do I understand correct, that you can help us for none of these problems we have?
1. The size of article number and category a little bit bigger on the single product page
2. The active category in the sidebar in another color
3. The sidebar also shown on mobile devices (i.e. at the bottom)
4. Small category pictures in the sidebarIt would also be nice, if you could help us for some of this points.
And if you can not help here for any point, can you give us hints, which areas/folders/files we have to modify, for reaching a solution for all this problems? We can program in PHP but we don’t know, where to change code to reach thins things.
Best regards
MikeHi Rikard
Thanks very much.
It works. But now there is a white border over the icons. How we can hide this?
Best regards
MikeHi Rikard
See the login to the website.
You can see, that in the topbar there is a phone number and the social media icons.
When you open the website with a smartphone, you see only the phone number, but not the social media icons.

Just another question. In WooCommerce we can define product category images.
Is it possible, to have a category list in the sidebar as we have it at the moment, but with a very small product category image before the category name? Something like is it here in this shop:
https://www.growag.ch/shop
Thanks very much.
Best regards
MikeHi Basilis
In addition to the issues in top, we have another little problem. We have in the shop a sidebar with the product categories, the search field and a filter. This sidebar isn’t shown on mobile devices.
How we can make, that this sidebar is also shown on mobile devices (at the bottom)?
Thanks very much.
Best regards
MikeHi Basilis
Thank for your answer.
1. The shown article number and category should be as big as the normal text or a little bit bigger as it is now.
2. This issue is not so important. The customer wanted to have it in the middle, over the products, but I think, this is not so easy? *
3. Ok, we let it like that
4. The color of the active category should be #b00101Thanks very much.

Hi Rikard
Ok, thanks very much. I will work with CSS code.
You can close this issue.
Best regards.
MikeHi Rikard
Very special. Now we see the image also in the Advanced Layout Editor, also when we have no hover option actiavated.
Perhaps it was a temporary problem.
You can close the issue. Thanks.
Regards
MikeHi Rikard
Yes, you have to set the option in the image from hover to not hover.
Thenk you will not see the image in the advanced layout editor anymore, only when you hover over you see, that there is something.
The problem is not on the website, it is in the editor.
Regards
MikeHi Basils
No idea, why this is on your site.
At my machines, the website is always reachable and not down.

MikeHi Victoria

We want, that the navigation buttons also look like the other circles. I tryed to paint it here:
We tryed to to it with this code:.av-timeline-nav a { background-color: #be1717 !important; }
The html color code #be1717 is the same as in the other circles, but it looks not like them, it looks “milky”. And when we hover over the navigation buttons, they become grey.
Thanks very much.
Regards
MikeHi Rikard
See the credentials below.
We used this codes and want, that there is no “milk filter” and that the hover not becomes grey:.av-timeline-nav a { background-color: transparent !important; }
Hi Rikard
At the moment it is not so a big problem, because there is the Google Maps Link. If this would become a bigger problem, we wil contact the developers of The Events Calendar.
You can close this issue. Thanks.HI Ismael
No, it does not work.
But it is not so tragic. It does not work in all events except the one where it works.
But there is a link to the Google Map, so this is ok.
Regards
MikeHi
I just do not unterstand. At the moment, it does not work on one but it works on the other event. So, when I add CSS code, this would be for all events, so, this will also be used at working events.
Isn’t there another reason, why it works on one but not on the other event?
Thanks.

MikeHi Mike
No, it is not this border I mean.
It is the border of the navigation buttons of the timeline.
See screenshot in the private content section.
