how do i know its av_section_1? and not 5 or 8 or whatever…? its not in the url…

thanks nikko, followed your advice but it didnt do anyting….after deleting my quick css it DID respond however so the problem is solved.
however, there i also this image on the bottom of the page…i dont know why but there is a white line around it, tried to get rid of it but did not succeed.
how to remove the white border AND get normal caption, not the italic one?best regards, jelle

ive installed the plugin, made my own 300×300 dimension and there is some improvement.to challenge it ive used 1 really vertical image and 3 rather normal images.
ive regenerated the 300×300 and the 707×705.
in the 705×705 the challeging very vertical image is spoiling it, as this is the one that refuses to be square.
see the results here below…but in the 300×300 its alright…cant explain why…
the 300×300 has cropped, but the 705×705 has not.you can see the page below and also an overview ive made of 3 different dimensions and below it the result it gave.
Even if the 705×705 still wont crop, im satisfied with the 300×300 result, so as far as im concerned you can close this ticket.

Unfortunenately it didnt to anything , but i re-dimensioned the image in such a way that its satisfying enough now on both the pc and a mobile phone.

i also tried to get a result on 300×300 but this is still not working.
if you ‘d choose 180×180 its cropped and nicely displayed, but one way or another there seems to be other rules for 300×300,
as they are not cropped.result:

ive mixed them up….but anyway, the image was the right one :)
of course thats a solution, but than you shift the problem to the mobile phone…

they are still skipping on the mobile phone
the problem never has been that the 495×400 was not working on this page, they do on a pc,
the problem was that 495×400 is not lining on this page on a mobile .but in extension of this story: in general only the 180×180 gallery thumbs always do the job. As soon as one chooses 300×300 or 495 x 400 the problems start.

but now ive put it back on 495×400:if you ll watch it on your mobile you will see the skipping:

Ive just heard from my host that WordPress core is allright with it PHP 8.0, but not all Themes and plugins already are. Hence the failure.
so , as far as im concerned you can close this ticket, i will stick to PHP 7.4 for a while

Thanks, i can see some improvements now, like it is in the middle and on the most pictures all text is to be seen.
Ive made all pictures equal size now , and only nr 1 and nr 2 dont show the total text.
Some lines at the bottom are missing.
Is there a solution for tis?
