OK, solved my own issue. I accidentally pasted in my purchase code into the API key field instead of the API Key.
However, your system did not validate for that and returned the message “everything updated perfectly….” – so that threw me off.

And yes, updating to 3.5.4 fixed all issues with latest version of WordPress

But I don’t seem to have any control as to what part of my image shows. There is still some form of cutoff, regardless of what option I choose.
Just trying to understand how the background image works in terms of sizing.
