    O shoot, I mistakenly deleted the last code on functions-enfold.php and nnow MY SITE DOESNT OPEN AT ALL. Even admin is not accessible. http://www.xandrianoir.com

    Also, I just checked, my ‘read more’ on my blog posts. is not opening the post. Please reply on this one really fast because my readers must be thinking I have gone nuts not allowing them to read my posts.

    Hello Ismael,

    Please visit http://www.xandrianoir.com and click on tags in the footer, for example ‘drip’ (which is portfolio tag) and then try ‘karachi’ (which is blog tag). They both have blog sidebar. I need portfolio tags not to have sidebar. Possible?

    Thanks guys, everything is falling in the right place now. Last thing (perhaps), tags are for posts and portfolio items both. Tags that are for posts, are fine in opening with blog sidebar, but tags for portfolio items are also showing blog sidebar. Can I have a code for not showing blog sidebar on portfolio tags?

    Hello Andy,

    I read the post you sent but my case is different.
    I don’t want sidebar on portfolio category page (and I don’t have the sidebar there because I deactivated from Enfold.) But I need sidebar blog categories, the sidebar that comes on blog page.
    I hope I am not causing any confusion.

    But I guess I can’t have the side bar? Because if I activate the sidebar on archives then it brings all the pages in the sidebar of portfolio. And I don’t want portfolio to have a sidebar in categories. Any solution to bring sidebar only on blog categories but not on portfolio categories?

    But changing to sidebar in Enfold> sidebar beings all pages in the sidebar (even the ones that are not on the site.)
    Two things:
    How can I have sidebar only on blog category that is same as blog sidebar?
    How can I featured image on the category page small?

    Oh sorry Basilis, it worked bu the featured image is gigantic. Also it is in the center of the page with no sidebar. How can I give sidebar?

    HI,
    I don’t understand. Last night I spent more than 2 hours trying to bring the old setting back once the custom header height did not work. Even after repeated cache clearance, the setting did not resume. I checked on three different computers. I also asked someone in another country to check how the page showed and he told me exactly as it was showing on my computer.

    Now after 8 hours when I return to my computer, the old settings are back.

    I don’t understand why it takes this much time. It should be quick on the spot. It only happens with header.

    My problem is still there. I need header to move a little upward. If I will touch the settings again, it will move down instead.

    Hi Yigit,

    I tried adjusting header size in Enfold theme options ( ‘header’ then ‘header size’). First it was set to Slim. I changed to custom size and it pushed it further down. I adjusted up to even 80 px but it did not bring it up. Now when I am trying to bring it back to Slim, it is still lower then before. (Have been doing it for 2 hours now. No luck.) http://www.xandrianoir.com (Check the grey line on the blue image in slider, the header was there before set to slim.)

    Hi Basilis,

    Yes, it is now showing my logo on all pages. I guess it just takes a while for logo to come into effect unlike other edits.

    Can you send me a code to decrease gap between the logo and the header, please?

    Also, please tell me if it takes this much time. Now I have uploaded logo with transparent background and it is only showing in ‘contact’ and ‘news’ page but the other pages showing the old one (with white background). http://www.xandrianoir.com

    Hey Josue, Enfold logo is gone. All I did was repeat the process of ‘ remove, save, add, save’ a few times. I am noticing, even after clearing cache, it takes a while to get logo there. Now I have to replace the logo again and it is taking equal time as before.

    One more thing, how can I decrease gap between logo and header?

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please go to Enfold > Sidebar Settings then set the Sidebar on Archive Pages to have no sidebar.
