Hi Ismael, what is the easiest way to get a category menu with all my shop categories on the left using Enfold? I can’t imagine I’m the only person asking this?
Update:
I got it working with this ZF plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/zf-wordpress-category-accordion/8849504/support
so now i have an accordion on the left expanding my categories as expected. if you look on http://www.galoot.co.za/shop/
my only problem now is that when going into a category / subcategory, the parent categories disappear instead of showing the higher level categories. There must be an easier way to do this, because all shops who has a bigger catalogue will need to have navigation similar to this, in order to make navigation easier for the clients. One thing I have that I managed to get working more or less is to add a menu with product subcategories in the left, but the menu looks a little lopsided.
So with all the categories, I would just like this to be collapsable / accordion like.
I tried the “advanced sidebar menu” plugin like suggested in another post, but not getting it to work.as per this suggestion https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-categories/
The “Woocommerce Advanced filter” that I bought, doesn’t function well at all because when you click on a subcategory, the filter loses the other subcategories.
In short, I just want to make it easy for clients to browse through categories and subcategories in the most proficient and easy way.
The galoot.co.za/shop page is the default shop page.
The galoot.co.za/print-and-production/ is a normal page with product grid and custom sidebarHi Ismael, sorry, was just trying something but it’s fixed now.
Sorry, just found a solution. My only problem is that the logo is white and on mobile device it looks weird. Do you have any suggestions?
Can I make a mobile only header-bg and disable the layer slider?May 9, 2016 at 12:36 pm in reply to: Masonry Galleries / Google Map after WordPress Update 4.5.2 don't show anything #629155I have the same problem.
http://www.oaklanefarm.co.zaThis did not work and I had to manually make images in photoshop for it to display correctly. This is a major issue for me, as it takes time when you deal with many images.
I have resolved the first issue and played around with the “helper-main-menu.php” file, so the secondary menu is now displayed below the main menu… but, now the main menu – submenu is not displaying correctly. It gets displayed below the secondary menu, I have tried fiddeling around with the z-index, but to no avail.Fixed that too.
