October 29, 2021 at 1:24 pm in reply to: Blog post element broken when Woocommerce is activated #1326994Hello there Ismael,
Thank you for your reply. I went ahead and forwarded the statement you requested and here is their reply:
“Please note that our plugin is not fully compatible with your theme.
Try to replace the code under this line- masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/lms/classes/instructors.php line: 28With this code:
if (is_admin()) {
add_filter(‘pre_get_posts’, ‘STM_LMS_Instructor::posts_for_current_author’);
}Then please inform if it helped and our developers will add this code for the plugin update.”
I’ve tried this at the staging website and it did not resolve the issue, so I reverted it back to its original file.
Is that information helpful / does this reply to your request?
Thank you once again for your time.
Best regards
October 25, 2021 at 10:52 am in reply to: Blog post element broken when Woocommerce is activated #1326279Hello there Ismael,
Thanks for your reply. I went ahead and requested support from the plugin developers and they told me there is nothing they can do since the issue is not present when they use the default wordpress themes. Please find the support request at the private section.
Is there anything we can do on our part regarding this issue?
Thank you so much in advance for your actions!

Thank you very much for pointing out the css causing the meta not showing!
Wishes for all the best!

Hello there Ismael,
Sorry for the wrong username. Please find the correct one at the private section.
It is set to elegant and the options are set at the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Styling . I am afraid that I carried some CSS from exporting the theme settings from another website.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
VictorHello Ismael,
Thank you for the reply. I wish that I display the meta elements set at the blog layout at Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Styling. Those are: Blog Post Category, Blog Post Date, Blog Post Tags.
The blog is set to have the grid layout.
The direct blog page can be found at the private content. I wish to display the meta info at the blog page, as well as at the categories page.
Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
Best regards,
Victor
October 17, 2021 at 12:15 pm in reply to: Blog post element broken when Woocommerce is activated #1325303Hello there Mike,
Sorry for the laggy staging website, it was due to WP Rocket plugin which I have disabled. I think it should respond correctly now.
I went ahead and downgraded woocommerce to 5.6.1 , unfortunately this did not fix it. I have also upgraded to 5.8.0, still the same issue.
Please kindly try to log in with the credentials provided at the previous posts (I will place them again at the private section of this post).
Looking forward to receiving your reply , hopefully with good news!
Best regards,
Victor
October 16, 2021 at 10:30 am in reply to: Blog post element broken when Woocommerce is activated #1325225Hello there Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
I went ahead and created a staging / clone of the website at the link in the private section.
The same credentials of the original work for the staging too. Of course you can enable and disable anything. When fixed and live, I wish that both masterstudy plugins are active, as well as the woocommerce plugin.
Thank you so much, in advance, for your actions and assistance.
Best regards,
Victor

October 14, 2021 at 7:05 pm in reply to: Blog post element broken when Woocommerce is activated #1324982Hello there Ismael,
Thank you for the reply. I have tried this but the issue remains. It appeared that the stm-lesson entries were hidden, only because the Masterstudy plugin was disabled. It needs both the free and the Pro Masterstudy plugin activated, in order for the courses to work.
Can you please kindly have another look on the issue, since I really don’t have a clue how to hide those lessons from the element?
Thank you so much, once again, for your assistance!
Best regards,
Victor
October 12, 2021 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Blog post element broken when Woocommerce is activated #1324629Hello there Ismael,
Thank you for your reply. In order for the issue to appear, after activating the Woocommerce plugin, there is a need to flush the WP Rocket cache and then force refresh. Of course at the moment the woocommerce plugin is deactivated.
I went ahead and replicated the issue in order to have a screenshot. You may find the link to the screenshot at the private area of this post.
Thank you in advance for your reply and your actions.

September 26, 2021 at 2:06 pm in reply to: How to align add to cart buttons at the bottom of the grid #1322349Hello there again Mike,
Thank you very much for the prompt reply.
I see now how it should work. At some point I thought I fixed for all categories with one go, although it appears that what needs to be done, is to specify for every category separately, as you have advised.
Once again, thank you very much for your time and effort! In case I need further assistance, I’ll come back!
Best regards,
Victor

September 24, 2021 at 9:05 pm in reply to: How to align add to cart buttons at the bottom of the grid #1322237Hello there again Mike,
Thank you for your reply.
Indeed, at the link you are checking, the layout is great, as expected. Although in another link, on another product category, the result is not as expected.
I think we are getting close and we need to play a bit with the px of the two css provided. I mostly rely on your experience, since mine is not that great!
You may find the screenshot and the link where the issue is located, at the private area. The screen resolution is 1920×1080 and it appears the same both in chrome and edge browsers.
For now, I went ahead and I’ve hidden the buttons, as the client requested, until we find the way to align them properly. Just comment out the css in quick css, whenever you wish to check the alignment issue.
Thank you so much for your assistance!
Best regards,
Victor

September 23, 2021 at 4:24 pm in reply to: How to align add to cart buttons at the bottom of the grid #1322060Hello there again Mike,
Unfortunately the first css of the last reply, just brings both the title of the product and the button a few px down (at some products the button even partially disappears behind the product that is right below).
I wish to achieve that the title remains where it is and only the buttons to align with the other red buttons of the row, in the shop page.
Thank you in advance for your reply!

Victor

August 4, 2021 at 3:26 pm in reply to: How to align add to cart buttons at the bottom of the grid #1314410Hello Rikard and thank you very much for the quick CSS.
This one almost did the job. I had to adjust it a bit to 450px, since some buttons were cut in half.
Also,
1) still the red buttons under the products are not aligning with each other at the bottom, is there a way to fix this?
and
2) product categories have a border line around them and now that we’ve increased the height of the columns, the product categories in the columns do not appear as symmetrical (link provided at the private content). Is there a way for the custom height of the columns to take place only for products and not the product categories at the shop page? If not, what could be the correct css code to hide the border lines?Thank you in advance for your reply!

This reply has been marked as private.Hello there Rikard,
Thank you for the reply. I am still trying to figure this out.
I understand that this may be out of the scope of support, although is it possible that a few lines of CSS can resolve the responsiveness issue? I am still struggling with this!
Any help is welcome!
Best regards,
Victor
Hello there Ismael,
I understand that this just creates a different layer of background between the title and the image. Unfortunately this does not change the background itself, of the title text and it still won’t pass the WCAG 2.0 AA requirement for the home page.
Going back to the contact form issue that appeared to be resolved after your first reply, unfortunately it just made the whole contact form disappear and that way the tool showed no issues.
Is there anything else we can try or, forms and sliders, cannot be made compatible with WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards?
Thank you once again in advance for your reply.
Best regards,
Victor
Hello there Ismael,
Thank you for your reply! I will try to change the code for the form and hopefully we’ll be good to go, when it comes to that accessibility issue!
UPDATE 1: I’ve managed to fix it by commenting the code you have indicated. Thank you very much.As for the contrast, there is the background of the title, different than the background image and directly related to the title. I’ve tried to trick the tool with the following Quick CSS:
`.avia-caption-title {
background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0, 0.01) !important;
} `but it still shows contrast issues for the title.
UPDATE 2: I’ve managed to trick the tool for the sub-title (caption text) by adding <p style= “background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0,0.01);” > … </p> at the caption text. But doing similar tricks at the Caption title makes the text black and still, I am unable to pass the contrast challenge.
Looking forward to receiving your guidance and thank you in advance for your reply!

Victor

Hello there Victoria,
Happy new year!
Is there any trick we can do to bypass this sharing in FB personal message issue in the meantime?
Best regards,
Victor
Hey there again Rikard!
Thank you for coming back! I think the issue can be replicated only in smaller resolution mobiles.
I have found this tool (please check private content), where you can choose the device to see how a website looks in some devices.
It looks as if in tablets everything is visible, while if you choose let’s say iphone 6, the content that appears in your screenshot, is not visible anymore!
Thank you in advance for your time investigating!
Best regards,
Victor
Hey there Rikard!
Thank you for the reply!
I went ahead and used several devices and the content is still not visible. As a matter of fact I have even cloned the page at a sub domain, to make sure that nothing is cached and that page too, still shows the content with the color sections mentioned missing from the mobile version.
Can you please kindly have another look?
Thank you in advance!

Hello there again!
Thank you for your reply!
I went ahead and removed the part shown below:
#top #wrap_all #main .avia-no-border-styling {
border: none;
display: none !important;
}I have cleared cache and it still keeps the content in the front page hidden. Can you please kindly guide me further in making the rest of the website appear in mobile devices too?
Thanks in advance!
Hello there Rikard,
Thank you for your reply!
Indeed the grid row with the logos is set not to be shown for very small mobile phones.
I went ahead and named the color sections that o not appear in mobile, while we need them to appear:
So if you follow the link at the private content to edit the page you will see that there are the color sections named: 1, 2, 3, the one already known as professional sign up, and the one named 4 that are set to appear on mobiles, although they do not appear!
Thank you in advance for your reply!
Hey there Victoria!

VictorMarch 11, 2019 at 3:51 pm in reply to: Fullscreen slider's initial fade reducing pagespeed insight score (I think) #1077391Hello there Ismael,
Thank you for your reply. The website is optimized and we are using caching plugins, as well as image optimization / compression tools. We are scoring great as it is, although, we’d like to give it a try to reduce the fade in effect at the initial load (or even in general too) for the fullscreen slider.
Is there a way to reduce the fade in time for it? I have read a post in this forum at some point, although it is giving instuctions to edit a .js file, which no longer has that many lines of code and I can’t locate the line containing the information about the fade speed.
Thank you in advance for your reply!
March 6, 2019 at 8:36 pm in reply to: Fullscreen slider's initial fade reducing pagespeed insight score (I think) #1075609Hello Basili,
Please find the login details at the Private content section.
Just to clarify, the issue is about making the fullscreen slider, together with its text and buttons, to appear faster at the initial load of the homepage, so users can click on the buttons the soonest possible, so that google pagespeed insights give a better score!
Thank you in advance for your time!

Hey there Mike,
Issue is now resolved! Thank you so much, once again, for the amazing support!
Best regards!
Hello again!
Thanks for coming back!
We have created many posts on a new project that we do not have online yet, unfortunately (I’ve created a simple example – please see lower on this reply).
For the posts, we have used the Advanced Layout Editor.
Using the Advanced Layout Editor, we have created several Color sections in every post.
Every color section contains buttons that redirect (using anchors) to other color sections inside the same post.
What I want to achieve, is for the visitor to be able to navigate inside the post using only the buttons, without being able to scroll with their mouse (to make the scroll bar at the right side of the browser disappear). Our issue is that the initial CSS we were using, (the code mentioned at the initial thread of this discussion), has an effect on other parts of the website too, and we fail to make it work only for blog posts.
—> I just went ahead and created a very simple post at https://www.wtech.gr/testpost/ to see what we want to achive.
So as you can see there are 2 color sections with buttons that lead from one to the other. One can either click the buttons or scroll with the mouse. We want the most efficient way to disable scrolling with mouse, so that visitors can navigate from one color section to the other, only using the buttons offered, but also that this has an effect only to blog posts and not other parts of the website!
I have came up with this code now for the theme’s quick css,
html.html_entry_id_1444{ overflow: hidden; }
but for every single post, I have to create a new line.
—> The main question is, instead of specifying every post, is there a code to perform the above, but for all blog posts?
Thanks again in advance, and sorry for the long post.
Best regards!
