Sorry that didn’t work. I also need help with why the social icons are not displaying in the 3rd footer widget. Thanks!

I want the arrow background to be transparent. The code above worked but when I tried to change orange to transparent it is still a light gray color. I don’t want any background visible at all. Thanks
that did it, thanks!

Thank you but I tried this and it didn’t work. Please note also that I don’t want this effect on all of my pages or columns, only some that I give an id. For example, in the column containing text here that begins with “Welcome…
Thanks
Thanks,
Can’t I edit the files that control this element? I want my client to be able to use the blog post element wherever she wanted to once I hand the site over to her. I would need for the blog post element to pull the post data (title, author, etc) automatically.
I saw these instructions fin the support forum (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-edit-blog-posts-element/):
What is the current blog style of the blog post element? If you set the style to grid, you need to modify the config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > postslider.php file. If not, then you have to modify the includes > loop-index.php file.
Is postslider the correct file to edit if I am using the grid style for the blog element? I assume I would just have to make sure that we always choose the grid mode.
Thanks!
Thanks for this, but it is only affecting the images, they are still on top of text. I want all three of the black text box on top of the images they are next two (some text boxes will be to the left of the image and some are to the right).
Thanks again for your help.
How do I apply to code just to the text column? I only see a place to give the entire color section a class. When I apply what you sent to the entire color section, it is the image that overlaps on top of the text, but I want text overlapping the image.
Thanks!
November 28, 2018 at 4:42 pm in reply to: How to put title and date above featured image on post? #1038581I am looking for help with a similar issue. I don’t want to use Advanced Editor, but rather I want to edit the template files. I’d like the post info on single blog post pages, the Blog Post element, and the archive pages to appear in the following order (i.e. moving category to above featured image and switching the order of author and date).
CATEGORY
FEATURED IMAGE
AUTHOR | DATEThanks!

Has there been any progress on this? Thanks!

I would be really surprised that there is not a way to do this with code so that the category pages automatically generate excerpts that are the same length — just like the blog element does on my homepage: http://warhorse.gruenagency.com/
Thanks!
There are several problems with this solution.
1. All of my images need alt tags for SEO. My understanding is that there is no way to add alt tags to background images.
2. I want to use the default editor to create the pages so that once I turn the site over to my client it is easy for them to add posts without manually adding title, category, author, etc.
3. I want the post to have the same container width for the text areas as the default blog post layouts that come with Enfold (modern, business, etc). ALB makes the container too wide.
4. Also please note I don’t want all of the images to go full-width, just some.
Could I create a class for the images I want to go full width? I looks like lots and lots of Enfold clients are looking for an easy way to do this.
5. I also want the feature image to ALWAYS be full width. Is that possible? Thanks for your patience!
