Thanks, but if I may comment: this is confusing. Even the “Update Available!” notification in Enfolds own Theme Update section points to https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/changelog/ . I stay away from the trackers-loaded Themeforest/Envato labyrinth as much as possible.
Thanks, Ismael, that does the trick! I had to adjust the dimensions once more after adding that CSS and regenerate thumbnails. Now I get want I was looking for…. almost: they align left now. I think I want to have them centered horizontally. What do I need to add to that CSS?
Hello Ismael,
Using that plugin I have changed Cropping from Yes to No for entry_with_sidebar. That works as such, but now it doesn’t respect the maximum height of 321 px anymore. With an original of 1920 x 1440 (4:3) the result is: height: 625.267px; width: 843.3px; (link to example in private content section).
I want to prevent cropping, but still limit the height. In other words: make it fit within a 845x321px rectangle. How can I achieve that?
Thanks, Nikko! That works well and looks nice.
Kind regards,
WillemOn the Styling tab for an Icon box I see:
Font Colors
Either use the themes default colors or apply some custom onesSo the “themes default colors” are not one of the 29 color schemes I can choose from under General styling? On a scheme with vivid colors an eye-catching element like an icon box looks terrible in black (or is it dark grey?).
Yes, please do.
Oops, shame on me! My lack of experience with the Avia Layout Builder and the fact that I did not build the site are the real problems. I had seen those lines in the page editor, but thought they were part of the layout elements. On another computer with Firefox instead of Edge, the little icons like “Edit element” appear when I put the mouse pointer on them. So the tools to make the adjustments I want are already there. Maybe even without the extra CSS. I have some homework to do.
Thank you!Hello Rikard,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I should not ask questions on a forum 2 days before a holiday. Thank you for this Quick CSS code. It works for the most important parts n top, but:
– padding: 0 appeared to be too radical. Any other number than 0 put the full spacing back, but I found that I can also specify a number of pixels. I have set it at “padding: 20px” for the moment.
– The effect seems not the same for all content elements. But my guess is that internal padding and (invisible) border width of elements also plays a role.
– It doesn’t effect the vertical white space above the 1/3 layout elements with categories and magazine further down the page. This is also quite large. Is there a way to decrease that? We already have padding 0px and border: none in the settings for those elements.kind regards,

Well, maybe you should write “this is a demo page” above demo pages! There is already more than enough confusion on the Internet with Facebook and Trump. Your demo page appears high in search results if you’re looking for a WordPress app compatible with Enfold.
It looks like this app is not available yet. I cannot find it in any of the mentioned app stores.

WillemJuly 5, 2017 at 10:02 pm in reply to: logo overlapping menu items before switching to mobile menu #816898With the extra code as Yigit suggested I moved the logo to the left a bit more and I also cut it down a bit. I do not fully understand the code, but I learned that I had to play a little with the value after “max-width: ” in the custom CSS to benefit from the extra space. I guess we’ll have to change that value again if we change the menu. This what we have now:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1190px) { #mobile-advanced, #advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide { display: block; } nav.main_menu { display: none; } .boxed #wrap_all { overflow: hidden; }} #wrap_all { position: relative !important; } .container.av-logo-container { padding-left: 20px; }
July 5, 2017 at 6:33 pm in reply to: logo overlapping menu items before switching to mobile menu #816860On an iPad mini in horizontal/landscape mode the logo still floats over (or behind) the 2 leftmost menu items. I don’t have the knowledge to understand the code Yigit added, I only know a little HTML. If I may express a wish for a future version: make it behave as it was a table with 1 row, 2 columns, with the logo in column 1 and the menu in column 2. Or another meganism that keeps the logo apart like it keeps the menu items apart. As long as there is enough space.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!
July 5, 2017 at 6:00 pm in reply to: logo overlapping menu items before switching to mobile menu #816854Thank you!!! That looks much better. I will do some more testing on different computers and mobile devices later, but the first impression is good.
There is a little more white space to the left of the logo than I would expect. Is there a way to reduce that?July 5, 2017 at 4:44 pm in reply to: logo overlapping menu items before switching to mobile menu #816811Hi Yigit. We’re now on 4.07. Update was easier than I thought.
