Should have done a little homework before asking question: just add featured image to portfolio cat. Thanks!

I got it!
Here is where the filtering is set: http://screencast.com/t/hnkOV9Do, specifically “Configure post options” button.
So, when I use the short code [post-url] here: http://screencast.com/t/8lNuqfpej the resulting URL generated returns what is NOT being filtered, which in my case returns https://wtbi.creativecrib.com/business-card-design/. Beautiful.
A little discovery was needed. Thanks for your prompt and courteous support!

Arvish, I just want to know where is the Avia Framework post_type is being used, i.e. Layerslider?

Ismael, thanks for the reply. I understand post types. I wanted to see how Avia Framework post_type is used since it appears when assigning a post type.
