Hi MIke,
as we are live now you can look at https://chiway.ch or login to the development site (see private content)
Thanks, StefanHelp is pretty much welcome!
I’m so sorry, Ismael, I made a mistake – the code works. Please close the thread.
Thanks, StefanIt’s strange, on mobile there are still huge white spaces at the bottom of the tab sections. It seems that the max-height of .av-tab-section-outer-container is generated dynamically, but under which criteria?
Just experienced: now with overflow:visible if you open an ajax portfolio the portfolio overview is cut again…
Hi Mike,
many thanks! Your css works but causes huge white spaces on an other page with a tab section. I solved this with a restriction to the specific .page-id
(anyhow I wonder why it works when you click on the second tab and go back to Team-tab)The first page problem seems to be a similar issue. If I put the column including the accordeon element outside of the tab section the expansion of the details works. I applied the overflow: visible !important; to this page too and now there is more content visible but not all. Any idea to that?
And maybe you have an actual solution for a deep link to a tab section including jumping to the section and open the tab both.
Thanks again
StefanHi, anyone an idea?
Thanks, StefanWow, I’m so grateful – it works perfect!
Thanks a lot, StefanHi Ismael,
many thanks again! The limitation to a certain main category ID works now, but the output is a list of all existing subcategories and not only these a product is assigned to.
Here https://chiway.dadanddaughter.design/wp-content/uploads/Screenshot-Abdominale-Akupunktur-CHIWAY.png.you can see under “Kursleitung” (main category) all subcategories (Simon Becker, Pia Columberg, …), but the product has only one instructor resp. subcategory.
Can you please check the code?
Best regards, Stefan
Hi,
of course on product page. My fault was that I have assigned products to subcategories but not to the belonging main categories. So this is corrected now. But: I have 3 main categories with IDs 42, 71 and 120. And the shortcode outputs ALL subcategories of main ID 120 (which is on top of admin product category list).
So my ideal case is to use [av_display_subcategories category_id=”xxx”] to show only assigned subcategories of each product.
Thanks again for your help!
StefanI don’t know if there is a correlation but after activating advanced CET options updating custom elements works as it should.
Thanks, StefanHi Ismael,
as I’m not expecting code snippets as part of the support I’m very appreciating your help! When using the shortcode I see “This shortcode can only be used on product pages” in the element preview, but after saving and looking at frontend there is “No subcategories found for this category” – no matter if I use [av_display_subcategories] or [av_display_subcategories category_id=”42″] (the last one with the main category ID is my wish). Can you help again?
Many thanks
StefanHi,
I mean custom elements. There are 3 team elements and 1 icon list in the avia layout architect choice of elements (layout, content, media, plugin and custom elements). And these I can’t edit and save.
Thanks, StefanThis reply has been marked as private.Hey Ismael,
wow, many thanks, it works, but I wasn’t exact enough. I meant only subcategories a certain product is assigned to. If a certain product category has subcategories A, B and C and a product is assigned to A and C then only A and C should be displayed. Possible?
By activating custom elements in Enfold settings it’s possible to insert WP Post Data or ACF fields. And there are also Dynamic WP Custom Fields like Theme Custom Field Shortcodes ({av_dynamic_el src=”wp_custom_field” key=”%metakey%” default=”” link=”” linktext=”” format=””}).And so I thought I can use this. But how?
Thanks again
StefanMany thanks for this simple solution and especially for your quick support!
So you can close this thread.
Thankful regards
StefanHi Ismael, that’s a great solution, many thanks! Is the opening in a lightbox controlled only by the image element (video link and open in the same window) or did you place some code somewhere?
Best regards,
StefanHi,
yes: https://gic.dadanddaughter.design/test-fitness-a/
Thanks, stefanHi Ismael,
no, I’ve removed all videos…
Best regards
StefanThanks, Ismael!
I love the video element because it allows the visitor to view in a lightbox after clicking, so it’s according to data protection rules. In this sense iframe or embed is no option. And because there are more elements within the ajax view a direct portfolio link is also no choice.
When you say “in the meantime” do you mean that you will check up this issue?
Best regards
StefanHi Ismael & Mike,
as soon as I remove videos from the ajax portfolio part (advanced portfolio settings), everything work fine, even a second row of columns. So it seems that the only problem is the Enfold video shortcode within the ajax portfolio. Any ideas or solutions for that?
Thanks, StefanHi Mike, these videos you see below the iframe should not be there – they are part of the ajax portfolio content (ICAROS).
Best regards, StefanHi,
no, at the bottom of the site there is an iframe, but no script.
I’ll send you credentials – many thanks in advance!
StefanHey Ismael, the site https://gic.dadanddaughter.design/fitness/ is in development. Please look at portfolio item “Icaros”. At the third column there should be 2 videos. And beneath there should be another 3 columns (not a grid element).
Thanks, StefanHi Rikard,
thank you! You’ve added !important, right?
The best solution still would be to have “real” mobil behaviour (e.g. switching to mobile menu) for larger breakpoints.
But I can handle your solution and you can close this thread. Many thanks again
StefanHi Rikard,
yes, I removed CSS because the site is live. It would be great if you can take a look. Login data are in private content.
Many thanks
StefanHi Rikard,
thank you!
Making av_section_1 unvisible works, but not displaying av_section_2.
I can display it with
.responsive.av-no-preview #top #wrap_all .av-desktop-hide { display: block; }
but it still behaves like a desktop (e.g. the menu is not jumping to burger menu).Maybe I have to create an own section for the range between 990 and 1112 px?
Beside this maybe it would be an idea for future development of Enfold to increase this breakpoint of 990px because tablet are larger generally.
Best regards
StefanHi Mike,
I found the causing plugin, it’s Germanized for WooCommerce Pro. I will contact Dennis from Vendidero now to tell him this issue.
Thanks,
StefanHi Mike,
many thanks for your investigations!
I will check which plugin is responsible.
Best regards
StefanHi Yigit,
many thanks!
Can you explain why this occurs in some sliders and in others not?Best regards
