YES! That did it – thank you very much for your help! :)))
Good Morning!
The page runs PHP 7.2 – Login Credentials for the Back-End are in the Private Content Section.
Looking forward to your help!
Kind regards, MichaelHere you are.
February 7, 2018 at 11:55 am in reply to: Enfold 4.2.2 – Menu–Problems: Changes are saved, but don't appear in Front-End #909050I already explained it above: we change menu-items in DESIGN»MENUS. The are saved correctly. Reloading the MENUS-Page shows the new items perfectly in place. But they don’t show up in the front-end. And they don’t show up in CUSTOMIZER.
February 7, 2018 at 9:32 am in reply to: Enfold 4.2.2 – Menu–Problems: Changes are saved, but don't appear in Front-End #908978Another strange thing: Menu-Entries will show up in the “menu-tree” under DESIGN » MENUS – but will not show up in the CUSTOMIZER under DESIGN » CUSTOMIZER :(((
February 7, 2018 at 9:12 am in reply to: Enfold 4.2.2 – Menu–Problems: Changes are saved, but don't appear in Front-End #908971Hello again,
I already posted Login Credentials as PRIVATE DATA in my last Reply – please use those to log in and check the menus.
Looking forward to finding out what went wrong.
Kind regards, MichaelFebruary 7, 2018 at 8:54 am in reply to: Enfold 4.2.2 – Menu–Problems: Changes are saved, but don't appear in Front-End #908956Okay, here is what happens: We enter DESIGN » MENUS and add a new page to the Menu. We save the Menu. The new Page appears in the “Menu-Tree” in the Back-End and all looks fine. BUT: the new Menu-Entry won’t show up in the Front-End. No changes we do to the Menu will show up in the Front-End. So it seems like the Menu is saved correctly but does not show up in the Front-End. Changing back to an older Version auf Enfold everything works fine instantly – so our guess would be that it is a bug in the latest Enfold-Update. I’ll post a link to our Website and Login-Credetials below – so you can check the differences between the Menus in the Back-End and the Menu shown in the Front-End.
Setting the language to “German – formal” (Deutsch – SIE) kills Enfold. Neither the “Advanced Layout Editor” nor the Media Library work anymore. Changing the Language back to “German” fixes the Problem. Please fix this as soon as possible, because here in Germany we need the formal Version to adress our customers. Thanks a lot!
Good Evening Victoria and thank you very much for your answer!
Your plan of “writing a custom connector for the portfolio items” sounds like the perfect solutions for our problem – but unfortunately I have absolutely no idea how to do this ;) Could you assist me in building this – or should I google my way through?
Your help would be very much appreciated :)
Kind regards,
MichaelThanks for your reply Rikard!
The thing is: if we end up with one Master-Page and – say – 10 Customer-Pages, each change of the Portfolio Entries would have to be done 10 times over. I would really like to have ONE central database of Portfolio Entries, which all of the Multisite-Clones just use or kind of “import” automatically. I thought about something like changing the URL just for Portfolio Entries. Or changing the database table just for Portfolio Entries. So they all could use the same pool of Portfolio Entries.
Of course we could do it with iFrames – but iFrames are NEVER a good solution ;)
Kind regards,
MichaelWonderful – works like a charm :))))) Thanks a lot!!!! You REALLY saved my day!
