Hi Victoria,
YES, I NEED HELP. I’ve spent about a week on this 40+ hours.
Here are answers to your questions.
1. WP Engine.
2. See private data sent to you in my earlier response.
Other WP Engine platform settings: https://wpengine.com/support/platform-settings/Log errors: http://testwels.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/testwels_logs.txt (hosted on WPengine)

Another note. I tried the update again using only the parent theme (with child theme deactivated to eliminate possible functions.php issues) and still resulted in 502 after successful upgrade.
Additionally, I tried a manual update SFTPing Enfold parent theme files. Same results. Tried activating JUST parent theme (same result of 502) and then also the child theme (same result).
I’m out of ideas!- This reply was modified 6 years, 6 months ago by welswebmaster. Reason: Additional info
An update…
All 5 steps you’ve recommended above were taken and still I get a 502. My guess is that something in my functions.php Child Theme is causing the issue. I’ve reverted to state prior to pressing the Theme Update button. Credentials and test site URL are in private content.**** IMPORTANT **** I have only a limited time to use this PHP 7 Install. So your expedient response is appreciated. I’m on borrowed time ;-)
I’m posting an update for the benefit of those waiting to hear how this turns out…
I’ve tried the following and NONE made any difference – still 502 errors on 3 of our installs. The rest are doing well.
1) Disabled plugins
3) Replaced header.php
4) Renamed .htaccess and updated permalinks
5) Defined higher memory limitRE: #2 – I’m running a PHP Compatibility Plugin to test how all our plugins would do if we moved all of our 18 installs to a PHPv7server. I’ll let you know how that turns out next. Lots of time spent on this….
Thanks, Guenter. I’ll give it a try and report back.
Rikard said “As far as I know it’s not possible “. I responded “Could you give this to others to respond as well?”. Yes, Jordan, I’m looking for an additional response on this topic from another support tech with multi-site experience using Enfold.
Thanks for your response Rikard. Could you give this to others to respond as well? It would save me a lot of time. Thanks
Perfect solution! Thank you for your quick response and the great theme.
FYI – Customer complained so I removed the CSS mentioned above as “this solution”.
I STILL NEED A FIX to center the menu below the centered logo.THanks so much! Please close ticket.
Hi Ismael,
Unfortunately, no change. I even added !important for each. Site creds included in private.- This reply was modified 6 years, 9 months ago by welswebmaster. Reason: added sftp
You can do this by adding “download” to your URL. Like this…
<a href="myfile.pdf" download>DOWNLOAD PDF</a>

Solution found – thanks to Shaon, author of WP Download Manager Pro. He unchecked the “Page Preloading” (Show a preloader when opening a page on your site.) setting on the Enfold theme > Theme Options tab, and all displays well for the WPDM Package List. Kudos to Shaon!
Hope this helps others using both the Enfold theme and WP Download Manager’s Package List Addon.

Ok. Is there a way I can disable lightbox for Enfold in functions.php or Quick CSS or via Enfold theme options?

Correct, Jordan. Look at the example URL I provided that has the border as I’d like it to appear.
July 19, 2017 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Burger Menu appears on all screen sizes and unable to edit #824094Jasksks – I was able to fix it by adding the following Quick CSS. Hope it helps you and others as well!
#advanced_menu_hide {display: none; color: white; height: 0px;} #advanced_menu_toggle {display: none; color: white; height: 0px;}
July 19, 2017 at 5:52 pm in reply to: Burger Menu appears on all screen sizes and unable to edit #824090Chiming in here, jasksks and Enfold team… it appears to be the burger menu entypo-fontello where it is set to aria-hidden=”true” but it still appears pushing the header down as well by that height. Not fixed either when adding quick css of “display: none” for advanced_menu_toggle and Advance_menu_hide (burger icon still appears).
July 17, 2017 at 2:06 pm in reply to: Search form placeholder behavior differs in alternate language #822610Perfect! Thanks Ismael. You are the best!
July 14, 2017 at 2:01 pm in reply to: Search form placeholder behavior differs in alternate language #821151I have not edited any of the PO/MO files. All has been manual updates. I do use WPML for language switcher – but not for translation.
Ismael,
Brilliant! Thank you! Wish you would have been the rep from the start since this turned out to be a really quick fix!WP ENGINE CUSTOMERS: If your Masonry Random Sort setting is not working…
Recap of Solution: If your web site is hosted by WPEngine, change the ALLOW ORDER BY RAND() to “Enabled” on your site’s Dashboard > WP Engine > General Settings tab (scroll half way down).
Nikko –
- Per WP Engine, the staging sites do NOT have caching turned on. https://wpengine.com/support/staging/
There is no server side caching in place on staging sites, so ensure anything that could conflict with the cache is tested Live as well - See Private Content below for the two pages that Masonry Random Sort has been configured for your troubleshooting needs:
Hi Nikko – I just tried the SFTP creds and they worked.
Status: Connecting to 104.196.47.138:2222... Status: Connected to 104.196.47.138 Status: Retrieving directory listing... Status: Listing directory / Status: Directory listing of "/" successful
Make sure you have the port set to 2222. I’ve pasted them in the private content box below for you to try again.
Unfavorable results still = random sort order still not working.
You asked me to…- I’ve pushed the production site to staging.
- All plugins have been deactivated.
- FTP installed latest theme (4.0.7) version.
New staging site credentials & screenshots (see private)
Yes:
“Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.0.7)”I’ve also applied the follow code block and css as suggested here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/1-column-masonry/
This all worked until 4.0.7.
Site details & SFTP ScreenPrint below in private for use on top right layout of the home page.- This reply was modified 7 years, 6 months ago by welswebmaster. Reason: additional info
Same issue here. I’ve deactivated ALL plugins, emptied server and browser cache, reset permissions across the site. Still the random sort order does not work. It worked prior to the last Enfold update though ;-)
