  • in reply to: KILL QUERY and Enfold Autoload data very high #1481957

    SOLUTION: I was able to get rid of the KILLED QUERY errors for using Enfold’s magazine and post slider elements for displaying calendar posts by instead using the Avia Layout Builder (ALB) tab entitled: “Plugin Additions” – UPCOMING EVENTS element. Using that removed all errors from the log.

    As for the autoload issue: I’ve installed plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/aaa-option-optimizer/ to see what is causing the slow performance.

    Thanks, Mike. I searched more on your support and found this helpful. “Enfold 4.7.4 has an option to disable the unique timestamp generation for the css and JavaScript merged files and so there will not be as many entries it the wp_options table.”

    Hi Mike,
    Two separate issues ;-) Sorry for confusing you.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for the info. What about:
    KILLED QUERY (22544 characters long generated in /nas/content/live/wels/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/magazine/magazine.php:1135):

    And the autoload options for Enfold.

    Thanks

    FYI the log is filling up for magazine and post slider. Here’s the post slider example:

    KILLED QUERY (16570 characters long generated in /nas/content/live/wels/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postslider/postslider.php:1542): SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.ID#012#011#011#011#011#011 FROM wp_posts LEFT JOIN wp_term_relationships ON (wp_posts.ID = wp_term_relationships.object_id)#012#011#011#011#011#011 WHERE 1=1 AND ( #012 wp_term_relationships.term_taxonomy_id IN (94)#012) AND ((wp_posts.post_type = ‘alb_custom_layout’ AND (wp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-success’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-failed’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-schedule’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-pending’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-draft’ #012OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘private’ #012OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘sent’)) OR (wp_posts.post_type = ‘ame_ac_changeset’ AND (wp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-success’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-failed’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-schedule’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-pending’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-draft’ #012OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘private’ #012OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘sent’)) OR (wp_posts.post_type = ‘attachment’ AND (wp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-success’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-failed’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-schedule’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-pending’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-draft’ #012OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘private’ #012OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘sent’)) OR (wp_posts.post_type = ‘avia_framework_post’ AND (wp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-success’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-failed’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-schedule’ OR wp_p

    Hi Ismael,
    What about this script https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enable-related-posts/ would this still be worth a try? Otherwise, I’ll need to add the post element to each user’s post? Argh, lots of those.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Ismael,
    Yes. The disable option is not sticking. Press disable, save. Click around the site and when verifying “disabled”, the value has reverted to “enabled”.
    Thank you for checking on this!

    Hi Rikard,
    We are not experiencing an outage. The site is up and Pingdom shows this as well (no alerts) and all scheduled tasks ran smoothly throughout the night. I can try a clean functions.php but there has been zero changes there for over a year. Not sure if that’s what’s happening. Next up would be to deactivate each plugin to check for conflicts. Do you have a list of those documented, that would be helpful.
    Last, I’ve initially asked if I can deactivate the setting with a few lines in the functions.php file. Possible?

    Solved! While we did empty server cache and found no relief, when logging out and back in again, the elements appeared. Must have been session cache. Please close this ticket.

    Hi Rikard,
    When switching to disable cookie consent on the Parent theme, it sticks. When swapping back to child theme, and switch to disable cookie consent value it remains for a few clicks (elsewhere on the dashboard), but then switches back to Enabled within a minute. So strange.

    “We are using MirrorWeb for web archival. I’m able to provide them with the uploaded font icons but not able to provide them with entypo-fontello set that is the Enfold default.” Without it, it will display as “?” instead of the actual icon.

    Hi Ismael,
    The code works well outside of Enfold. (see private) It works inside of Enfold as well but it can’t find the JSON file where I placed it. That’s why I’m asking where to put it. See private for all. I gave you login credentials as well above.
    Thanks

    in reply to: Overlap Column #1452422

    Hi Ismael,
    Thanks. The issue you pointed out was the socket CSS with position:fixed and now set to relative.

    But the initial issue I’ve reported remains where I’m trying to overlap top right column into the columns(color sections) below. I tried using z-index as indicated and its still not working.

    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for your response and idea. Sometimes the obvious (color section 100%) smacks you right in the face when too close to details. I’ll try the image versus CSS approach. Thank you for that!

    Credentials refreshed. Ref. previous private info again.

    Any feedback on…
    “Last. Is there a better approach to this that you’d suggest? The goal is for each of the 5 categories to use the same layout but a different color scheme. I was going to create one blog post for each category that they could duplicate. Any direction or critique of my approach is welcome. Trying to push the envelope so that blog posts don’t look so generic.”

    Hey Guenter,
    Well aren’t you fast! Thanks for the help. I also had to include the following to make it work for us. Hope this gives other inspiration. Have a great day and please close ticket. Thank you!

    #scroll-top-link[data-av_icon]::before {
    content: url(/wp-content/uploads/top.svg);
    }
    #scroll-top-link.avia_pop_class, #av-cookie-consent-badge.avia_pop_class {
    opacity: 1;
    visibility: visible;
    }
    html, #scroll-top-link, #av-cookie-consent-badge {
    background-color: transparent !important;
    }
    #scroll-top-link, #av-cookie-consent-badge {
    border: none !important;
    }
