Thanks so much, works perfectly!

Ah the first issue seems resolved after flushing the cashes etc.
Second question remains!
Hi Yigit,
thanks for your response. I think though that what you are suggesting results in a different type of solution, namely not seeing the ‘white’ next to a photo. I’d rather know what size the pictures should be, because that also prevents the page from moving/jumping (you can see what I mean if you look at http://www.vrijzinnigen.nl and then the second block from the top on the left side: the photos have different heights, causing the blocks below it to ‘jump’.
Also here: http://www.vrijzinnigen.nl/blog-wies-houweling-vrijzinnig-spreken/ What size should that picture be to prevent the white below it? I think that’s the same picture as the one that shows on the front page (second block from the top on the right), so maybe it’s not possible to have one picture that has a perfect size for both the blogpost-picture and the frontpage picture? In that case I’d love to receive a similar line of code to the one you provided above, but then to remove the grey bit below blog-photos.
I hope it’s clear what I mean :-)
Regards,
Welmoed
Hey Yigit,
I think it had something to do with caches etc, because it worked fine later on. Sometimes I just need to restart the computer or something to see results :-)
Now for a related bit: how can I remove the orange circle/two arrows from the blog-pictures? See for example: http://www.vrijzinnigen.nl/blog-wies-houweling-vrijzinnige-zakkenvullers/
Ah thanks, that’s what I was looking for :-)
Now I changed the size, but I don’t see it changing on the front end. Do you know why and what I can do about it?
Best regards,
Welmoed
Hey Yigit,
thanks! I added this exact code to the custom CSS bit, but they’re still there… What went wrong?
Best regards,
Welmoed
Ah thank you! I needed to click the + to see all the options, found it. Thanks!
Thanks Josue!
1. I’m not sure if I did it right (not sure what the header socket is and how to empty it), but I managed to get the rainbow-bar to stick to the top of the website somehow :-) But now I also see a faded one, see this screenprint please: https://www.dropbox.com/s/30s2afq89ljv0hi/Schermafbeelding%202014-07-22%20om%2021.27.59.png It remains there with or without the CSS code you provided.
2. I added this code to the custom CSS, but that doesn’t do the trick… so I assume I’m doing something wrong here… maybe I should add it in another area than the custom CSS field? I’m sorry, I’m not an expert here yet… Hope you don’t mind too much…
3. See 2, the same goes for this one as well.
Thanks so much for your help, it’ highly appreciated and one of the reasons why I love this theme so much. Great support!

Thanks! I managed the posts with featured images, and used ‘pictures’ and ‘text’ in the widgets in de sidebar. It starts to look good :-)
Some issues I need your help with please:
– the top coloured bar is not in the right place yet. You mentioned you can help me out with this when the site goes live. What do you mean by going live? the website needs finishing asap, the client already sees the website, so this should preferably be done asap :-)
– Sidebar: I think it’s because I use separate widgets for the picture with the heading and then a separate one for the text, that there is so much white space between the header (with the colored line beneath it) and the text. Is there a way I can make this white space smaller?
– And also within one plugin, where it says ‘Steun ons’ the white areas are quite large, can I make those smaller somehow? Not sure you can help me out with this question, since it’s not a Kriesi-plugin.
Thanks for any help!

thanks it works!!

Thanks Günter!
I tried to find the HTML code, but couldn’t find it… It’s about the logo/picture on the top of the sidebar you see on http://jouwwp.nl/npb/
Could you help me identifying the section?
To be clear: the rest of the sidebar should be visible on all pages, it’s just the logo that shouldn’t display on the home page. Thanks!

This reply has been marked as private. Thanks Josue! How do I share psd-files/images on this forum?
Thanks Yigit!
Thank you, I managed to set up the child theme!
New to working with code plugins, so going to experience with those now :-) Any advice/documentation on this would be very helpful! :-)Regards,
Welmoed
Hi Yigit, thanks for your quick reply!
Would it be best if I’d make a child theme instead of making these adjustments in the main theme? So that it won’t change back when I update the theme? -
