Thanks for that but what I needed was to just have a few words here and there appear with the correct characters. I found the solution; it turns out that a lot of fonts don’t support the special characters, but some do so I created a class in my custom.css – I hope this is helpful for someone else, too.
/* to recognise the vietnamese characters – popular unicode fonts are Times New Roman, Arial, Tahoma, Verdana, Palatino Linotype, Courier New */
.vietnamese {
font-family: ‘Arial’, ‘Palatino Linotype’, ‘Times New Roman’;
}Then i just called and it worked perfectly :)

Yes, sorry, it does appear to be working now, thanks!
I removed this and it’s still not showing up :(

That overflow-hidden worked to clear the bottom band but the scroll bar indicates maybe a 2 pixel space, which I know is fussy but maybe there is another css tweak to fix that?
Hi Andy
No, you can’t set the timer in the settings, so I assume it needs to be somewhere else? thanks, both of you!
November 10, 2014 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Links in caption titles and text over fullscreen slider video #349040Hello
Yes, the version is 3.0.2. I didn’t realise that my a href code was incorrect – so sorry to waste your time on that! As for the 15px band along the bottom of the video, I am attaching a screenshot – I’m on a mac using the latest version of Chrome (Version 38.0.2125.111).
Also, I want to change the timer on when each of these items builds over the video (ie, the title, caption, and then buttons); can you please tell me where I can modify this or would you prefer I start a new thread? Thanks again :)
November 8, 2014 at 9:12 pm in reply to: Links in caption titles and text over fullscreen slider video #348238Also, it looks like a 15px band of the background image shows up at the bottom of the page – is there some css that I can apply to remove that? thanks again!
Thank you!!!!! That worked – so simple – good to know; I won;t do that again :)
Sorry, it’s still not working – I noticed that there was both an ‘enfold.css’ as well as another css file in the dynamic_avia folder with the name of the child theme, ie – southern_springs_by_park_homes_-_child_theme_to_enfold.css. I deleted both and turned off all of the plugins and reset the permalinks and tried and the options panel is still not making the changes. Instead of regenerating an enfold.css file it’s regenerating one for the child theme. I’d be most appreciative if you could please go into the admin and have a look. Thank you, again, but the client is starting to get impatient and I’d really like to get this fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks for the reply – I am trying to find the other post about deleting enfold.css and your search isn’t finding the post (it did before). With that said, can I safely delete that file to see if it will resolve this issue?
Nothing is working in the admin panel options, eg, I set the logo to left and the menu to below, and it says that changes are made but they are not. I rty ot modify the copyright and nothing changes – every section of the admin panel is not working; please advise. Thanks again.

July 18, 2014 at 4:53 pm in reply to: HELP! Doing an update and have this error – Fatal error: Call to undefined funct #293052Ah, ok, I didn’t understand that you couldn’t revert to the default editor. With that said, I did have a colleague apply some code to display the shortcodes on another site using Enfold, so I will do the same for this one because I need to try and implement a hotspot image map with rollovers – not sure if it will work but it is good to know that once I commit to the advanced editor I am set. Thanks, Ismael :)
July 17, 2014 at 8:01 pm in reply to: HELP! Doing an update and have this error – Fatal error: Call to undefined funct #292628Yes, unfortunately I still get nothing in the default editor – blank field for both visual and HTML.

July 15, 2014 at 10:16 pm in reply to: HELP! Doing an update and have this error – Fatal error: Call to undefined funct #291849So I pointed the child theme to a brand new clean upload of the theme and it’s working again, however, I am trying to use the toolTip plugin to make an image map with hotspots and when I switch to the default editor I get a blank filed for both the visual and HTML editor. Thoughts? thanks.
July 15, 2014 at 2:48 am in reply to: HELP! Doing an update and have this error – Fatal error: Call to undefined funct #291351I did a manual update using FTP, and only changed the files that had been altered since the version I had installed, which was 2.8.1. I have uploaded a clean and completely new version of 2.9.1 on the server, and will swap over to that, hoping this will fix it but I have run into fatal errros before when updating Enfold manually via FTP. Any thoughts on that?
July 15, 2014 at 12:54 am in reply to: HELP! Doing an update and have this error – Fatal error: Call to undefined funct #291331Ok, so I disabled that line of code and now the header images are missing. Please advise. Thanks again.
Thank you, again! Your theme is the best out there :)
