I turned of the plugins and it started working again. I’m slowly going through each one to figure out which one did it.
I am having the same problem with my layer slider too since the update to 3.9 as well. I cannot edit my client’s slider at all nor export or add additional slides. I figured I’d post this here since it seems to be the same problem.
I’ll give that a try.
But it looks like WordPress recovered on it’s own from the install. The theme says its 2.4.4 in the details. So it appears things are functioning again even without me doing anything.
Only have one version but I just rename the folder on upload and verify the theme is functioning before removing the old version if I do things manually. Keeps me from making mistakes.
