Okay, for the time being we solved the issue yesterday night:
fortunately, we had saved our home-page as a template (although an older one) and could just use that template to create a new home-page.
Apparently, the old one cannot be opened anymore, whatever we do. So we edited the new one (at the risk of loosing our google ranking etc.)
This morning, the new one has the same error as the old one. However, when connecting to another network, both pages can be edited. This appears to be one weird kind of caching issue as deleting the browser cache entirely does not solve the problem.
Still: please help. What is this? And why did it start all of a sudden and has never been an issue before?

Sure thing, I’ll place under private content.
So many thanks for your help!
Hey Vinay,
in the root of my wordpress folder, WP rocket has already added the following lines to the .htaccess file:
# Allow access to web fonts from all domains.
<FilesMatch “\.(eot|otf|tt[cf]|woff2?)$”>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>I have replaced this code by the one mentioned in your link, but no change. What else could I try? :)
Worked like a charm, thanks a lot guys!
Hi Rikard,
sure! Please do not be too surprised what our site is all about. ;)
Hey Elliot,
that sounds nice, but apparently there are these little spacing lines between the horizontalt icons. If I put your code into quick CSS, the left margin actually is 20 px, but the icons are “glued” to these spacing lines on the right.
Can the icons be centered within these spacings?
Still with your code snippet, Google Page Speed complains the icons are still too close together in mobile view:
January 8, 2016 at 3:34 pm in reply to: Enfold mobile display logo and secondary menu issues #562013Hi guys,
older topic, I know. However, I have been successfully using the latest development of this code in order to center both social icons as well as phone number and email on mobile devices.
However, I am unable to center texts and logos both horizontally or vertically on a normal website. I have been using your quick CSS from.
Help needed. :)
