Hi Mike!
I works just wonderful. Thank you so much for helping me with patience on this issue.
Kind regards
AndreHi Basilis,
oh, that’s a bit disappointing for such a well known Theme like ENFOLD. I know several themes which have no problem with that.
Especially within the EU-DSGVO it would be really relevant to overthink that ENFOLD may be a bit more open in standard here.
Gravatar is leaking mail addresses as everyone knows and ENFOLD should not force it’s users to support a behavior like that.
An option for local avatar images would be really useful.
Kind regards
AndreHi Mike,
PERFECT!
Now it’s correct on all pages.
Thanks so much for your great support. I’m really pleased with that!
One last thing: how could i achieve to have a smaller space between the meta infos and the featured image?
Kind regards
AndreHi @Basilis,
that would be great!
Thanks
AndreHi @Mike,
thank you. I tested it and it worked out fine for the post!

But now the styling on the authors page is broken:

Can we specify the CSS tweak only for posts?
Kind regards
AndreHi @Basilis,
thanks for your reply.
Maybe a plugin could be the solution for this. But then: how could we hook into the category pages to use the plugin?
Kind regards

AndreHello @victoria_d,
thanks for your reply.
I know how to disable Gravatar within WordPress.
My point is: can i still use local Avatars in ENFOLD? I use the plugin WP User Avatars and my user do have images for their user accounts. But ENFOLD is not showing them at all.
Is there know way to show images in ENFOLD without Gravatar?
PS: i would like to switch off Gravatar because of EU-DSGVO Compatibility.
Kind regards
AndréHello Support,
any hints on this one?
I would really be happy for any suggestions.
Kind regards

AndréHello @Mike,
i cannot give you an URL right now.
But here’s a screenshot of the page:
http://www.eymann.info/download/meta_gap.png
It’s basically in the right place, but the gap is not ok.
I tried to fix it with CSS (position), but then it’s not ok within the post grid.
Kind regards
AndreI have exactly the same issue within Layer Slider here on Safari. Blog Style is “Modern Business” btw.
The CSS tweak…
.avia-safari .avia-content-slider, .avia-safari .avia-content-slider-inner, .avia-safari .avia-content-slider-inner .slide-entry-wrap { -webkit-perspective: 0 !important; }
doesn’t helped me either.
I would really be happy if we could fix this quickly, because it’s really annoying especially on the landing page.
I would really be happy if there may be an solution for this.
Is this something I can configure or default ENFOLD behavior?
Hello Mike,
i have the same problem (within the “modern” blog style) and tried your code. It breaks the layout even more while the categories are now places “behind” the title. So I took it back.
Still there’s a gap about 50 px between the title of the meta infos which is very annoying.
Are there any other ideas of closing that gap?
Kind regards
Andre
