Hello @Gitte,
unfortunately i could not solve the problem. I played around a lot with the loop-index.php file but found no satisfying result.
At the moment i’m pending on Enfold and may come back later to this issue.
Kind regards

Thanks a lot!

sorry for the confusion. I meant broken in terms of style/CSS.
It’s been fixed within this issue: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/comment-form-broken/
Thank you very much for your reply!
AndreHi Mike,
it’s working!
Thank you very much for your great support :)
AndreHi Basilis,
I understand.
If you could please give me a hint which file to modify I would try myself to do the customisation.
Kind regards
AndreHello Support,
is there any way to do this?
Kind regards
AndreHi Support,
i think i could fix it.
Added the following line just above the description in archive.php (in child theme):
<h1 class="custom-cat-title"> <?php single_cat_title('Beitragskategorie: '); ?> </h1>
Custom style can be applied to “custom-cat-title”.<main class='content <?php avia_layout_class( 'content' ); ?> units' <?php avia_markup_helper(array('context' => 'content','post_type'=>'post'));?>> <h1 class="custom-cat-title"> <?php single_cat_title('Beitragskategorie: '); ?> </h1> <?php $tds = term_description(); if($tds) { echo "<div class='category-term-description'>{$tds}</div>"; } ?>
Kind regards
AndreHi Ismael,
thanks for that.
I did include the code in my functions.php file but the title is still not shown.
Please see: https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/category/spielebranche/
I would like to show the title right above the category description.
Do I make something wrong?
Kind regards
AndreHello Ismael,
thank you.
Regarding the formular: when i want to reply on an existing comment, the formular is broken. Please try to reply on a comment here: https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/mea-culpa-kingdom-come-deliverance/#comments
Thanks for any hint!
AndreHello again,
i fixed it – a little bit ;)
Found out that I had this code in my child theme css:/* Do not show sidebar on mobile */ @media only screen and (max-width: 990px) { #top #main .sidebar { display: none !important; } .content { width: 100% !important; border: none !important; } }
Removed it.
Now it works on smartphones (iPhone).
BUT: on the iPad the sidebar is also shown with been cutted off on the right side.
How can I show the sidebar also (like with smartphones) under the post?
Kind regards

AndreAlso I discovered a little problem when replying to a given comment. In that case the formula gets scrambled.
You can see it here: https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/mea-culpa-kingdom-come-deliverance/#comments while clicking on REPLY.Hi Support,
I’m sorry I don’t get it.
How do I have to modify archive.php and tag.php to show the title?
Kind regards
AndreHi Ismael,
it’s working!
Thank you so much.
This should maybe be the standard in Enfold as many people would have a shortcut to the authors page.
AndreHi Mike,
it worked out!
Thank you VERY much for your great support!
Kind regards
AndreHi Ismael,
just wonderful! That looks very good.
The last declaration.sidebar_right .comment_container { padding-right: 0; }
solves the problem in the mobile (Smartphone) view only. In the normal view it’s not ok, cause the text is now running against the border (thin line) on the right side. Is it possible to scope this declaration only on the mobile view?
Kind regards and thank you very much!
AndreHi Basilis,
if there already a release date for the update regarding GDPR/EU-DSGVO?
Kind regards
AndreHi Ismael,
i understand.
My intention is not to modify the main structures of the ENFOLD theme. I just though – after your hint – the magazine layout may be a solution for my issue.
In my point of view the horizontal layout could be an option in ENFOLD since the style can only be displayed in vertical column by now.
Thank you very much for your support.
AndreHi Victoria,
oh, thanks! I’m sure this will help me.
I’ll try this in the next days and will post my result here.
AndreHello Vinay,
that’s wonderful!
Thank you very much for this very helpful customisation.
A few more things:
– Would it additionally be possible to put the name and the time stamp on the right side of the avatar to save some space in vertical?
– Also it would be helpful to minimize the indenting of sub-comments. Is it possible to have a smaller indent?
– And why is the margin of the comment (only on mobile view) on the right side bigger than of the left side?
Kind regards

Hi Victoria,
thanks a lot!You need to edit the archive.php and add the title there.
How can I do this to have the dynamic Category name in the archive.php?
Kind regards
AndreHi Basilis,
You would need to edit the element to make it link to the author page.
How can I do this?
Kind regards
AndreHi Victoria,
that’s much better! Thank you :)
https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/test/
Would it be possible to use these two things also?
– pagination
– the ability to be used within categories (replace the standard grid)
Kind regards
AndreJep. Thank’s Rikard!
Thanks for your support Rikard, now it’s perfect!
I added a little extra space on the right side (50 Pixel), so that the text is not running against the border. Now both views (Author page und post) are equal and looking great.
https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/mea-culpa-kingdom-come-deliverance/
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) { .single .author_description_text p { margin-left: 130px; margin-right: 50px; } }
Would it be possible to link the authors name to the authors page?
Thank you very much Basilis.
Many Bloggers here in Germany are switching of Gravatar due to EU-DSGVO and it would be nice if ENFOLD would be open to show local avatars as an alternative since commenting is much nicer with avatars.
AndreHi Ismael,
that’s cool!
Looks promising, but for my needs it misses the following:
– bigger images (left) and more meta info (right)
– pagination
– the ability to be used within categories

Is there a way?
Kind regards
Andre
PS: the point is: there might be a fitting plugin too, but I really like to use the ENFOLD features instead of a pluginHello Support,
I successfully added the authors bio at the end of the post with the snippet above. Works great.
The only thing that bothers me:
– On the authors page the text in the right side is aligned correctly: https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/author/yannic-hertel/
– On the blog post (bottom) it’s not. The texts floats around the avatar: https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/mea-culpa-kingdom-come-deliverance/
How can I correct this?
Kind regards
AndreHi Rikard,
perfect! Thank you so much.
PS: is it the default in ENFOLD to show the featured image on pages not 100%?
