No, not out of the box. It will require additional coding.
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

You need to disable WordPress decreasing the image quality and reupload the images again to the website.

Well, the thumbs used are 80x80px and so they should look ok, maybe you can set the thumbs size in the widget settings?

This is the way this filtering works. First, the number of items are loaded and their categories are used to generate the filters when you load more, the new categories are shown if items of that category appear.

I am not seeing any controls in Chrome on a Mac and in Safari they disappear after a few seconds. They should be off by default. Which version of Enfold are you running?
