Styles in child theme take precedence, depends on which selectors you’re targeting. It would be easier for us to help you, if you give us a specific page and an issue on that page, and them we see what we can do.

The search is there ( http://imgur.com/a/pYhMS) and it’s there on mobile, but if you want to show search only to users who are logged in, you will need to write some code and depending on how comfortable you’re writing code, you can either do it yourself or hire a freelancer to do it for you.

I looked today, the controls are there, they just look different. On iPhone you have to click on the video to start playing. As for the swipe, where do you mean the swipe is not working?

Try disabling the Lazy Load plugin and see what happens. As you can see here it the plugin overriding the image path.
