You can copy this file to your child theme, with the same directory structure and edit the file there. Or we can adjust those with css and no need for overriding the helper.

Those errors are when you’re logged in to the dashboard. Has there been any security change with your hosting provider?
I deactivated Jetpack, you will need to activate it again. I duplicated the fullscreen slider and it does not show. All the markup is there, but in the list of slides the element is no there.

I made a test page. The slider appears there and the slider appears on your front page preview. Can you delete the slider and recreate it?
