I was not able to observe the behavior you’re describing, which browser are you using? No errors in console, the accordion stays open.

I think the answer is that there is no easy way to do it. You need to write JavaScript that would target the content slider to slide to whatever you need to show. Either way, this kind of customization is out of the scope of our support, but you might consider hiring a freelancer if you really want to do it.
