When you build posts with Classic editor you can set the post format:
Also, give these posts a category that will identify them.
And then you create a page with the Advanced Layout Builder and add the Blog posts element:
Showing posts from a certain category:

Your slider looks fine without this code. The images will scale not proportionally. The Layer Slider is hard to adjust for mobile sizes since there are not many custom classes or write inline css for each slide.

Well, we can try to do that, but as I said above you need to add the css for the widgets in a media query so that it does not affect mobile image sizes.

It can be better to even hide the gallery on mobile and add some slider.
