The web site hosting service said they will adapt the firewall to avoid the blocking of the requests. As for me, this topic can be closed. Thanks again!
Problem solved! It had something to do with security, indeed: a “Web Application Firewall” was activated, and probably blocking some requests. Deactivating this WAF solved the issue.
Thanks for your help!Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your answer. I don’t know how to properly use admin-ajax, but if I just called the script with both installations, and the result is the same.
I’ve created the same user on both sites. You can see that if you try to edit the Home page on http://firstsite.tld it shows the Advaced Layout Edtor correctly. But it is no longer possible to edit the same page on https://secondsite.tld
It must be a question of server settings, but which one? I looked at PHP parameters, and although they are slightly different, nothing appears being the blocking element (once again, it is possible to create a page with the editor, it is the update of the page that is impossible).
Do you have a particular idea in mind? I can contact the administrators, but I think I should give them a hint…

OK, I tested the same files on another provider and it works. I’ll reinstall (for the 3rd time) the files and tell you if it works.
Up :)
Does anyone know why the advanced editor is not working? I can start again with the elements, but when it is updated it is no longer possible to modify the page with the Advanced Layout Editor (Avia Layout Builder): it only displays a spinning wheel. -
