Hi Rikard,
I solved the issue by using another Caching solution as W3 Total Cached seems to cause the issue. I am now using WP Fastet Cache. As far as I can see I can do what I need to do right now.

I don’t know either from where this file came from. The file was on my local installation as well as on the online version. I deleted it as you instructed. Now everything seems to be ok.
