I feel dumb, looked through the whole backup and FTP, and saw, that somehow something deleted the custom_menu, and that was the problem.

I don’t think you need a log-in, I just need a short code in the function.php with a removeClass command
Like IF PageID=xxx, then removeClass (“fullsize”)
No Idea how to do that.
By the way, there was an interference with a code in “shortcodes.css”. No matter how many !important command I used, had to disable one command in shortcodes.css.
I use a Child theme, I copied the new codes, I hope it will stay there after an update.Not important, just wanted to share.

Do I have to look out when there is a theme update or the files in the child folder wont change after update?I checked everything, incognito etc, used different computers, no problem on my side, but I am not sure what your problem is.

Thanks for your help, I hope you find a way, this excerpt thing was always a problem after an updateof course. followed the info in the link, added the code, added the folder, copied the modified- magazine.php (which worked in main theme), but still nothing.
