I got it to start working as well. I had the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin running on the site. When I updated it to the latest release the layout editor started working. Not sure if it was causal or coincidental, but it works now.
Overwriting theme files with latest from ThemeForrest via FTP did not help. Just updated to WP 4.2.2 and visual editor will not load. Just keeps spinning. I can create a new post and enable the advanced editor, but when I go to edit one, for example, a product page where I used the advanced layout editor, it just keeps spinning.
@Yigit, it’s unclear if Elliott is going to take another look from his last response or if his “disable all enfold customizations” answer stands.

Can you be more specific about what the problem is? If possible I’d like to have the enfold customizations and the plugin work. I’ll take a look at the code, but if you fill me in on what you saw as the problem that may save me some time.
