January 19, 2023 at 7:25 pm in reply to: Make link to anchor in mai menu work on mobile devices #1394444
Oh crap I forgot we had done that. Is there any way to make it work but using a separate menu for the mobile? Or disable the about us on the mobile version perhaps? I had moved the about us to the home page because the client had so little copy for the home page.
If neither is possible I code in a link to the bottom of the page not in the menu but near the top that say find out more about us. That I can figure out I would think.
Thanks a bunch,
Sure, I think this gives me the right direction to move on. At least with your help I know what seems to be happening. Again kudos to your tech support!
Thanks for you reply, especially on the weekend, you guys are the best. I will be removing it tomorrow and see what happens. Ignoring it won’t work because of what’s happening it seems google is not indexing the pages in question only looked at the search injury result. How very odd. Have you ever seen this glitch from google before? I can talk the client out the wordpress search I think.
Well that’s peculiar because none of the pages have that suffix. The URLs are all correct. Would removing the search prevent the indexing from going wrong do you think? I’m ok with losing that functionality, how to completely remove it and see if that fixes the issue? Is it a simple matter of removing it or is there more to do?
I think you so much for taking the time this. I use you them exclusively anymore not just because it hilt so well but because of the tech support which has always been tremendous.

Yup I saw that, everything seems fine but when I audited the site I get errors with with google and ahreafs.com have a look here:

If you have any advice I would appreciate it, ‘is no index – yes’ meta robots ‘•follow •noindex’
Running the site thru ahrefs.com analysis, it has pages as http stats code:200, Is indexable page – No, Is No index – Yes, Is no follow – no, Meta robots •follow •No Index
Yet I don’t see where or how it became non index I certainly never specified that the pages should be as such.
Google likewise shows the pages as no index in a robots file.
Pulling my hair out trying to figure what needs to be changed.
and no index
yes I have. it seems that each individual page somehow has follow and under set and haven’t a clue how that happened.
January 6, 2023 at 11:05 pm in reply to: Move caption on photo media element towards bottom of photo #1377902awesome, thanks.
By the way I see there are options other no scalling for the size which would be okay to pick one of but none of them are really vertically oriented. What do you suggest. Thanks again.
December 20, 2022 at 10:23 pm in reply to: Change font weight and color of recent portfolio widget text. #1376938/*sidebar text sizes*/
.news-link { font-size: 14px; font-weight: 100 !important; }
Sorry actually this was the successful code to change the size.OK no worries. That would be a cool option for a future release perhaps. Thanks of your always diligent attention to customer support, you guys rock.
Ah okay I see what you’re saying, it only shows sorting for those portfolio posts which are imaging at any given time on the grid. Is there a way to make it show all the categories even if one of them is only on the second page? In other words can I have sorting that shows all the categories whether or not they happen to appear on the first page? If not I’ll leave it be but that would have been better as eventually they will have several more categories and only want 9 increments in that section.
Thanks
Sure sorry forgot about that, password in private field
Thanks Yigit, What a cool option!
That worked like a charm, thanks pal.

August 17, 2020 at 11:36 pm in reply to: different headers (full width logos) for different pages – page ID issue #1238642Sheesh. Scratch that idea for now. Is there any out of the box way to load random images in the header as the logo? Client keeps changing things up on me.
August 17, 2020 at 11:18 pm in reply to: different headers (full width logos) for different pages – page ID issue #1238640Hi Rickard,
For whatever reason the home page always defaults to the site title in the header with no graphic. I think a different strategy is to use the blog layout item on the home page and target it’s number in the php. However that defaults to just 3 post per page. Is there a way with some code to change the number of default posts up to say, five when using the blog layout item on the home page?
Thanks
July 9, 2020 at 4:37 pm in reply to: Broken link icon appears after wordpress updates even though logo is there #1229213Well I did see that the number 385 was entered in the transparency logo field though I’m not sure why. I placed a blank, transparent png file in there and the broken link has disappeared.
We worked on this site ages ago and just now have gotten back to it. If you look in the desktop view, make the window small enough so you can scroll you’ll see the header graphic changes on the desktop view to use the same graphic in the header on the mobile view which I thought was pretty cool. To be honest though I don’t recall how I achieved this.
My new question is can I just eave this as it is now, or is something maybe not kosher about how I pulled this off?
Thanks,
Tony
July 8, 2020 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Broken link icon appears after wordpress updates even though logo is there #1228902Hi Rickard,
As I mentioned it only happens in Safari. I’ve confirmed the icon appears on more than one Mac. There’s a file which is named ‘385’ with no suffix listed when I look at the site in developer mode on a Mac. Is there some function of the site that would have applied a such a number as some sort of default? Very puzzling.
Thanks,
Tony
May 23, 2020 at 9:10 pm in reply to: Layerslider plays a second time when page scrolls on mobile device #1215581Wow. How odd that would have been on by default somehow I never even knew those settings were there. They were off on the home page mobile slider.
Thanks for figuring it out I spent hours trying all kinds of things and it was something that simple.
You guys are the best. That’s why I use your theme exclusively now. I now have 8 licenses directly and 6 others where the client registered themselves, and it’s because the theme is great and the support is amazing. Thanks again. Topic closed.

May 21, 2020 at 4:53 pm in reply to: Layerslider plays a second time when page scrolls on mobile device #1215039Yes of course, though I recall trying that myself. It’s really befuddling why this happens.
May 19, 2020 at 5:32 am in reply to: Layerslider plays a second time when page scrolls on mobile device #1214185I’m having the same experience. the problem is I can’t find any difference in the settings and the slider on the homepage doesn’t behave in this manner. So .. befuddled.
May 11, 2020 at 4:35 pm in reply to: Layerslider plays a second time when page scrolls on mobile device #1211859No that’s not enabled. That happens on an iPhone on the the authors page but not on the home page and the settings are the same. Perplexed.
May 5, 2020 at 5:16 pm in reply to: Layerslider plays a second time when page scrolls on mobile device #1210030Hey Ismael,
It is set to 1. The issue is that the slider does in fact play once, but when I scroll down on the page on an iPhone the action of scrolling triggers the slider to reload. This I can’t figure why. Curiously the slider on the home page does not do this and they have the same settings as far as can see.
Thanks,
Tony
May 5, 2020 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Video background in color section when set to not loop reverts to first frame #1210018Have a look on a Mac using Safari. On both our Macs the issue occurs. It does work properly in Chrome it seems.
April 29, 2020 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Video background in color section when set to not loop reverts to first frame #1208238Hi Ismael,
On this page:
That video is a mp4 loading on the site itself and which stops instead of looping, but then reverts to the first frame each time.
Thanks
Hey Jordan that works. I actually saw that code before but forgot to try moving it to the top of the custom css. Duh. Thanks again, topic closed, stay safe pal.
