  • Hi Ismail,

Thank you for the response. That is unusual because all of the sites that are showing it correctly have exactly the same code.

To edit this, I have to edit the custom css file, which I have done, but the changes are not showing. I made this change on Friday and it is still not showing up. Do you have any guidance as to how I can force this change through?

    Best regards,
    Tommy

    Hi Mike,

    This worked perfectly. Thank you!

    Hi Rikard,

The section of the website is currently made from 4 columns within a colour section, giving the look currently seen. However, we really want to be able to add plus icons (see here) and keep everything on the same line. I have played around with multiple options, but I have not been able to achieve the look and was looking for guidance.

    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria,

    Thank you for your response.

Is it not possible to do this using QuickCSS? What I would like to do is have “Billing & Shipping” and “Additional Information” in the column on the left, and Order Details and Payment in the right hand column. The site is live, so you can see for yourself.

Is it also possible to disable the dropdown widget from the cart icon?

    Hi Nikko,

We’ve reverted to Vimeo to give us greater control over the settings and player, which covers those challenges. The Lightbox effect demonstrated in that link would be amazing, and give us greater flexibility. Is there a simple way to implement this?

    Best regards,

    Hi Nikko,

Thanks for this – very informative.

I’ve implemented the custom css in general styling (having changed the colours and .svg file), however it is still showing as default. Do you know why this might be the case?

    Thanks

in reply to: Responsive Full Width Image with Captions #472968

    Hi,

The problem that I had with Full Screen Slider is that the positioning of the captions was not flexible enough and I could not get the font size or style how I wanted. The other issue is that the full screen slider is showing as more than 100% of the browser screen, i.e. the picture is too tall for the screen and doesn’t adjust.

How do I configure the Full Screen Slider to show as I need?

    Kind regards

    Tommy

    Hi Elliot,

Yes I want the background image to be 100% of the browser window (as I have an arrow graphic to indicate people to scroll). My issue is that on different screen sizes the position of the captions changes. I have taken screenshots on different browser sizes to illustrate. You can see that the caption position changes in relation to the bike’s wheel and the lamp post. Ideally I would be able to fix the position in relation to the image so that the captions have the maximum effect, without being distorted by the background image.

Is this possible in any way, or should I change the layout so it is not 100%?

    Thanks

    Tommy

    Hi Yigit,

    My website is kidigitalhealth.co.uk

I have actually fixed the menu/nav issues, but wondered if you had a fix for my fullscreen slider.

I need to have a fullwidth static image, with the arrow scroll down, however on some screens the image is distorted. How can achieve this or what would I need to do to the image to make it so that it works on all screens?

    Kind regards
