That worked, thanks Yigit!
Hey Ismael,
The code worked to disable the arrow, but the border still remains.
Thanks,

Sorry, I should have mentioned my forms are created using the Contact Form 7 plugin, so that is not an available option.
Thanks,
TomHey Yigit,
Strangely enough deactivating all plug-ins and then reactivating all of them worked. Maybe one of them was hanging it somehow.
Thanks,
TomThat did the trick, thanks guys!
Hey Devin, I’m not sure what you mean by ‘regenerate images’. Is that a function somewhere?
As a note, all of the uploaded images are 700×360.
Hey Devin,
I made the recommended change to the functions.php file, but it does not appear that the image sizes have changed. I tried clearing my cache, refreshing, and tried opening it in a different browser, but the images are still cropped the same. Any ideas?
Thanks,
TomHey Yigit,
I have tried flushing my browser and no luck. The issue occurs for me on IE8 on Windows 7 (via Mac Parallels).
Here’s a screenshot of the issue: http://imgur.com/axgJiC0.jpg

Hey Ismael, I plugged the supplied code into my QuickCSS, but unfortunately the problem remains the same.
Thanks,
TomHey Ismael, thanks for the response. This fixed the issue on the home page, but it still persists on every other page. Is there a way to remove the double border across the entire website?
Thanks,
TomThat worked, thanks Dude!

Thanks for the quick response. That change removed the date in the blog roll, but it did not remove the dates from the Recent Posts widget, the Avia Blog Posts sections, etc. Is there a way to remove the dates from those areas as well?
Thanks,
TomHey Ismael,
Thanks for the quick response. That ended up squishing the images vertically a bit, but I set the width at 28px as well to maintain the aspect ratio and that worked, thanks!
Great, this worked. Thanks Josue!
Hey Yigit,
That’s strange, I’m on it now and have not heard of anyone having issues accessing the site before.
I tried that code and it led to the same issue with the logo being cut in-half, and still re-sizing on scroll.
Thanks,
TomThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Yigit,
Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, when I used the code and set my logo height (45px), it cuts the logo in half, and still re-sizes the logo when scrolling. When using your code with 85px as you supplied it, the logo does not re-size and is not cut in half, but is much too large.
Hi Ismael,
That is correct. I would like to make it so my logo and header do not re-size, like I had it before the update broke it.
Hi Yigit,
The link is correct. Perhaps there was a second of downtime when you tried.
Hey Devin,
The thumbnails are now fixed, thanks for that!
As for the other two issues, I’m testing on Mac Parallels running Win 7 and IE8.
Here’s a screenshot of the menu disappearing (note that the slider is transitioning in the screenshot, not broken): http://i.imgur.com/hQnh9Zp.png
Thanks,
TomHey Devin,
I’ve gone ahead and deactivated respond.js and the theme is updated to 2.3.2.
After removing respond.js, obviously the website is no longer responsive in IE, so the squished blog image issue goes away. But naturally I would prefer it to remain responsive, so hopefully there’s a way to fix that aspect of the plug-in’s functionality.
The other remaining issues are:
– Menu disappears at certain smaller sizes
– Search icon renders as a square until moused-over (I would be happy with simply switching out the font search icon with an image if you can show me how)
– Recent Post images don’t fill their container boxes correctlyThanks for the help!

I have the same issue. It’s easy enough to fix, just add the following to your custom CSS:
.avia_iconbox_title { color: #ffffff; }
EDIT: Actually this only works on buttons inserted through the avia page builder. The text for sidebar buttons is still black.

Another new issue I’ve discovered in IE8 is when the website is scaled down, it starts to squish the blog images horizontally while retaining the height, causing the blog images to look skewed. Here’s a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/M0eoWsA.png
Hey Devin,
Some things have changed after updating to 2.3:
2) This issue is still occurring, although now the menu also disappears completely instead of switching to the mobile menu at certain sizes.
http://s23.postimg.org/g76as3dbv/Screen_Shot_2013_10_04_at_9_27_12_AM.png3) The search icon now only displays correctly after mousing over it.. Until that point it remains a rectangle. I’ve cleared my cache several times.
5) The only plug-in I’m using that would affect image size would be respond.js. Other than that I’m modifying a few specific image sizes via the custom CSS for IE8 fixes as directed by the support team.
Thanks,
