July 5, 2016 at 9:54 pm in reply to: URGENT: Site transferred and settings are not displayed #657265That works however we are now live with the site and I cannot edit any pages, advanced editor just keeps spinning. I have searched several resolutions being updating the theme however I have the latest theme and have cleared my cache, etc. I tried deactivating all plugins as well as reactivating the enfold theme and WP.
PLEASE HELP since i need to edit several pages asap.
Thank you
July 1, 2016 at 10:45 pm in reply to: URGENT: Site transferred and settings are not displayed #655924UPDATE2:
The only issue remaining at this moment is that the widgets are not displaying correctly. I am using the jetpack primarily for the visibility feature since we are using the sidebar navigation as widgets…long story short, I reactivated the jetpack widget but it is not displaying the widgets correctly.
I understand that this is a third party plug-in however perhaps you can see if it is related to a setting somewhere else since the plugin was functioning properly before. Please see original private message for accessing the site.Thank you again for all your support, you guys are great!
July 1, 2016 at 7:29 pm in reply to: URGENT: Site transferred and settings are not displayed #655889UPDATE:
We went through the steps again and not the icons are not appearing correctly. I tried importing the theme settings file again as that fixed the icon issue yesterday however the icons are still not showing. I gont through several of your threads #216511 and #171770 but none seem to resolve this icon issue.
Please see previous message for accessing the site.Thank you!
Thank you Andy, this got rid of the side bar division line.
I also added the following to remove a second division bar and have the whole page visisble at 100%:.sidebar_left .author-extra-border {
border: none;
}.container .av-content-small.units {
width: 100% !important;
}Thanks again for a great theme and great support!
Thanks Ismael, that seems to have done the trick!
Thanks Rikard, that worked great however the page is not at 100% width (still shows the sidebar division lines)
I have the following CSS but it is not accomplishing this:
.search .sidebar { display: none !important; border: none!important; }
.search .container .nine.units { width: 100% !important; border: none !important; }.search-no-results .widget avia_combo_widget, .search-no-results h3 { display: none!important; }
Please let me know what I may be missing.
Thanks again for a great layout and even better support!!
PLEASE DISREGARD…it turns out, our accordion section had text including special characters that was causing the whole issue. I’m attaching below the text that was causing the problem (although i don’t know why). My colleague reinserted this text and it is not function correctly.
text:
Make the file name sufficiently descriptive and clear. Avoid using certain special characters in a file name (& * ? < # as they may cause problems and you most likely won?t be able to save the document. A dash (-) or underscore (_) may be used.File names should use consistent date formatting. For example, a file modified on March 24, 2011 should include 24MAR2011 in the file name.
Use version numbers to manage the revisions of attachments (e.g., V1, V2, V3)
Thank you nonetheless =)
Thanks Jordan, I was trying to avoid css since it seemed odd that it wasn’t showing up as per the footer settings however that did the job.
Thank you!
Thank you Jordan, but please notice on your screenshots the different color for the footer font headers
(yellow on top screenshot and dark grey on bottom screenshot along with the footer 2 and 3 content changing from white to dark grey)Looks GREAT now!!
Thank you so much to all involved, really appreciate all that you do for us. =)
Thank you Rikard, that seems to have only affected the right side of the top menu and not the rest of the menu lines. = /
Thank you for your prompt reply Basilis, unfortunately that did not remove (or hide) the lines. I also tried adding the important tag- none !important; but that didn’t work either. I also tried “hidden” instead of none but nothing =( I made sure to clear cache, delete all browsing history, etc.
Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.Thank you
Hello Rikard/ Kriesi,
This issue can now be closed. The header and footer sections are correct now.
Thank you!
Please let me know if you are still being blocked since everything on our end appears to have been removed to allow your access.
Thank you again for all your help with this!
I spoke to our IT office and they were able to log in from their phone without any issues.
Whatever is blocking access does not appear to be from our end. Could you please try again maybe from a different browser or device?
Are you receiving the same error message that Rikard received before?
I also tried accessing it from my phone and was able to without any problem.
Please let me know if you are still unable to access the site and any specifics as to what is preventing you from accessing the site.
Thank youPlease try again now.
Thank you!
Thank you Andy but I already had that setting : /
This is still the only quick CSS that I have for the hyperlink font color:
/*******************
hyperlink only- blue
*******************/
.avia_textblock ul li a {
color: blue !important;
}Please see screenshot below of the enfold setting and sample page with and without hovering over of hyperlink.
I am trying to have ALL hyperlinks on a page stand out so a person viewing a page knows where to click a hyperlink without having to hover over the whole page “hunting” for hyperlinks.Thank you again for all your help, please let me know of any other suggestions.
Thank you Yigit, although I had updated to the newest version, the slider was still not working properly until a few days ago.
Thank you! You can close this ticketThank you Andy, unfortunately the hyperlinks are now a different color within bullets only and not within paragraphs and special headings nor tables.
I’ve included a few pages where this is occurring below.Please advise.
Thank you!
Unfortunately the hyperlinks are still not highlighted to stand out from the regular text in these text box bullets, special headings and tables.
Below is sample of page with the hyperlinks within the bullets still same color as regular content
ThanksI believe some of that occurred when the content was copied from an existing static site.
Nonetheless, I corrected the bullets on that page (link below) however the hyperlinks are still not highlighted to stand out from the regular text in these text box bullets, regular headings and tables like the hyperlinks stand out in other sections within text blocks and accordion elements, etc.I have the following quick css for highlighting the hyperlinks within text blocks, however not sure how to have the hyperlinks highlighted within these text box bullets, headings and tables:
.content p a { color: #002bff !important; }Thanks again for any insight as to why that may be occurring.
It did update the hyperlinks on the sidebar navigation menu by the way but we need the hyperlinks within the text box bullets, headings and tables. Currently hyperlinks are only highlighted and stand out when they are in a regular paragraph like in the circled areas in the screenshots above.
Thank you!
Thank you Rikard, unfortunately I tried that but it did not seem to work : (
also within tables as shown in screenshot below.
Thank you
Sure thing Jordan, please see below.
My apologies for not seeing your reply sooner.Thank you
I shouldve known that…my apologies
Looks great now.Thanks again! =)
Ohhhh, I see what I missed. Thank you so much Yigit, only thing missing though is the line that is part of the Special Heading. I believe it’s labeled special-heading-inner-border when I inspect the element. I included an image of the line in question.
Thank you again for all your support and guidance!
Hello Rikard,
I receive the same message. It’s odd since it works fine on an HTML page with the tag in private contentIt’s something fairly new (less than a year) however I don’t see why it wouldn’t be supported by WordPress unless a plugin is needed.
