Hi Basilis,
Thanks, I wasn’t sure if Enfold followed the same structure. Thats great.
Hey Yigit,
Thanks for the answer but I already tried flushing server and browser caches (even hard resets).
I’m afraid the problem is more complicated than that…
Tim,
Hi,
I’ve instantly restored the website to a previous version that’s why you don’t see any issue right now.
Tim,
Hi,
I did a restore that fixed the problem by itself. I don’t know how but it works know.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you Ismael. I am going to try and continue resolving this issue with WPML because they believe it’s a plugin issue and not a theme issue.
Thanks,
Hi Ismael,
Yes I also opened a ticket with WPML. I really need this issue to be fixed asap. They are also working on finding a solution.
Did you put the language switcher in the menu? Could you please let me know what modifications you did?
Many thanks,
Tim,

Hi Ismael,
You are correct that this thread is drifting out of topic but it’s only because no one has giving me a working solution.
Can you fix this flag disappearing issue? Please try and click on the french flag to see what happen.
This will be my last thread as I will have to hire someone to fix this problem asap if no working solution is provided.
Thank you for your understanding,
Regards,
Tim,
Hi,
Already tried that and it’s breaking the website.
How can I specify that I want this code to be implemented in the top bar?
Tim,
Hi Andy,
I already did all these test.
One solution I would see is to replace these flags by WPML language selector.
I have the PHP code here: <?php do_action(‘wpml_add_language_selector’); ?>
I’m just not sure where to place this code so it appears instead of the flags?
Tim,
Hi Andy,
Ok good to know for the thread queue.
The issue already occurred before the code. I already asked WPML for support but aren’t theses flags part of Enfold’s theme?
Let me know if there’s nothing more you can do from your side.
Thanks,
Tim,
Hi Andy,
Any updates on this? Would you be able to fix this issue?
It’s quite urgent unfortunately.
Thanks,

Hey,
I deleted the phone code altogether and it works fine except again for the french language.
I disabled all plugins and the issue was still there.
Tim,
Hi Andy,
Yes this works on both a laptop and a desktop the same way! Looks great!
The french flag issue remains however and the phone number is spaced out from the rest.
We’re getting close :)
Tim,
Hi again,
I adjusted to -2050% which does the trick for me except for the french language.
When the french flag is selected, the flags go back in the middle (despite the exact same implemented CSS code as the other languages) and the Dutch flag disappear… very strange….
By the way I just tried on my laptop and there I don’t see the flags at all.
Let me know what you see.
Thanks,

Hi,
It looks like this to me.
Tim
Andy,
Could you please put it back the way it was if you cannot fix it?
Furthermore, I would prefer to have the language selector instead of the flags.
What about the menu over the logo issue?
Let me know if I need to hire someone for these issues.
Thanks,
Hi Andy,
Look at the attached picture.
It does not look at all like my mockup… The menu is all messed up now…
Tim,
Hi Andy,
You should have access now.
Tim,
Hi Andy,
I already sent a mockup through dropbox. See above.
I will re-enable access.
Thanks,
Hi Andy,
Where should I put this code?
I tried in the functions.php but it’s not changing anything.
Tim,
Hi again,
Ideally it would be to have a small selector of languages in the top bar at the right side.
If that’s too complicated than have the flags put there instead of on the other side.
Thanks,
Hi Josue,
Now the language selector is on the left over the logo and the flags are still there on the right side of the menu…
Could you please get back to me quickly because this is even worse than before…
Thanks,
Tim,

Hi Josue,
Please try with this login.
Tim,
Ok it’s done
Keep me updated,
Thanks,
Tim,
Hi Josue,
For some reason, whatever code I add to the child functions.php I get a parse error which renders the website inaccessible….
Tim,
Hi Andy,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’ve tried your new code in the quick CSS. The menu is not overlapping anymore but that’s because the the WPML flags are no longer taking space as I’ve put them in the top bar. If you reduce your window size, the menu still overlaps even with your code. Isn’t there a way that it’s impossible for the menu to touch the logo? It seems like a basic need that many people might have…
Regarding the WPML code, whenever I put the code <?php do_action(‘wpml_add_language_selector’); ?> in the functions.php I get a “Parse error” and can’t access the website anymore…
Tim,
Hi Again,
I added a top bar to my menu which free up some space. The menu is no longer going over the logo because the flags are now in the top bar but the underlying problem is not fixed. Whenever the menu touches the logo it shouldn’t go over logically….
I have another question for you.
I would like to remove the enfold flags that are currently on the left side of the top bar and replace them by the WPML language switcher at the very end right side of the top bar. How can I achieve that? WPML provides this code “<?php do_action(‘wpml_add_language_selector’); ?>” but I’m not sure where to place it so it appears at the very right of the top bar…
Many Thanks,
Tim,
Hi Andy,
It does if you switch to french language.
Anyways soon the website will be translated in even more languages so these flags on the right side are not ideal.
Could you please advise how to remove these flags and add the language switcher of WPML in a top bar on the right side? This will already free up some space since nothing else seems to work…
Thanks,
Tim,
