Problem solved. Partially :-) My images were 2000×1000. I cut them to 16:10 and now it is fine on my notebook. I wonder what will happen on LCD 4:3? I would prefer cutting the background rather then distorting the image…

Does Color section in Layout builder (love it, better than Visual composer) has any advances if I use it for fixed background?

One more question. I tried to use fullscreen slider with transparent header. When I click on the arrow at the bottom of full screen slider it does not go all the way down – small part of the slider remains visible behind the transparent header (I need to keep it transparent all the time). How can i solve it?
