Excellent! Thanks, looks like that took care of things.

it’s white now because I removed the code. Couldn’t leave it like that.
Attached is a screen shot from when I do have that code plugged in and when I don’t. Hope that clarifies. Also, not sure if there is some confusion but this isn’t a problem just in IE 8 or anything. Since updating the theme, this problem is seen with any browser.
UPDATE: Thought it was resolved but it’s not so below is updated edit of my post.
Cool, thanks Andy. I plugged in the code you noted in my custom CSS and that seemed to resolve. However, it also made the header area where the breadcrumbs are transparent. Not just the socket area at bottom of the page.
Is there some way to make it be strictly for the bottom area and nothing that would affect the top?

thanks, feel free to close this one out.
that worked, thanks.
Do you know what was causing there to be so much space? I’m sure the default space between a paragraph line and H1 isn’t set to that big a margin. This reply has been marked as private.September 17, 2014 at 10:20 pm in reply to: Theme / site admin problems after changing site directory #320767Never mind :-)
Miracle of miracles I think I have fixed it. Was getting a sidebar error on each page referencing to a problem with metabox.php. I took a look at that file and think maybe it got corrupted on upload of new files.I reuploaded from a known good file and now things seem to be ok.
YAY!!!!

Thanks. The only problem with the code is it DOES affect the first two rows (the heading row and pricing row). I need something that will only affect all the default rows. Below is an example. First image is before applying the code you noted and the second is after. Any way to pinpoint just the default rows but leave the header and pricing row alone?

This reply has been marked as private.Thanks. That part I’d been able to figure out thru CSS trial and error.
The one that I’m stuck on now is how to make the cells that currently have a slight gray background be white instead. I’ve tried the nth-child you suggested in my other topic thread.
What I’m not having any luck doing while attempting that is how to NOT affect the first row (the header with the red / green / red colors). If I do the nth-child(odd), for example, it removes the header background as well.
Is there a way to do the nth-child and somehow tell it to skip the first one and instead only apply to 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.?
No, haven’t tried that mainly because the content from real site is already there.
I’ve been doing a lot by trial and error with the CSS and made some end roads to what I want.
One thing I’m trying to do now is make the background of all the cells white without affecting the header row. But since the li code for all the regular table cells doesn’t have a class assigned (making them tough to target specifically), I’m not having much luck. Tried several of the suggested solutions on the support board here and so far not working. If you can suggest a solution, that would be great. The image below shows where I’m at so far and what I’m trying to do.Each cell that I would like to have a white background is noted with an X in image.
Thanks!
Adding the table element is easy enough (had already done that). However, figuring out exactly how to change it from the default colors and do things like add icons next to text, etc. does not seem straight forward and I haven’t been able to find any documentation. I’m under a bit of time crunch so hopefully you can steer me in the right direction. Here’s an image of the general idea I’m shooting for:
Here’s a link to the actual sample page:
Sample website pageThanks!
thanks Devin.
Yeah, those Enfold pricing tables look pretty close to what I had done (the top set on the page you sent) so those should work fine with some minor adjustments to colors. But all in all, very much the same concept.
Are there some instructions on how to create those various table styles within Enfold?
disregard the previous post. I was able to find the file to edit. Just thought it was accessible thru the WP dashboard but apparently not.
Thanks!
Thanks, I was able to take care of the first item (it was the title on single.php that controlled the one I needed to remove).
The second item wasn’t as easy. The link from the other topic you gave says:
The text “Archive for category:” is generated by avia_which_archive function. You can find it on framework > php > function-set-avia-frontend.php, find this code on line 834:
However, I haven’t had much luck figuring out how to get to the specific file it noted to make the change. Can you point me in the right direction?
Excellent! Worked that time.
Thanks!
I added that to the custom css but it doesn’t do the trick. Does it need to apply to the social portion as well? That is what ultimately is at the very top of the page.
July 30, 2013 at 8:17 pm in reply to: Changing the Color of the Easy Slider's caption background #131872I also am looking for an answer to this one. I found one other support entry about it but unfortunately it was just a post that said “OK, solved” but didn’t give any indication as to how it was resolved.
