Hi Mike
I the meanwhile we have been able to solve the problem ourselves. You can close the ticket. Thanks.February 4, 2019 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Footer color has change since last update (theme & wordpress) #1062681Hi Viany
This is special that you get this message. We do not have any problems with our website in this concern. We have been, unfortunately, blacklisted about one year ago. But that’s it.
Also do we have an antivir plugin. I let it run. Says all good.
Can you please check again? ThanksBest regards, Thomas
Hi Nikko

Okay. It’s a bit a pity. Because the layout at “Default (Business)” is fitting great in terms of where the name of author and date is placed but the grid blog is not so nice.
On the other hand the “Modern Business” has a great grid blog layout but the author name and date are not placed well for us.
I guess we have to live with that if we don’t want to change things on the php side.
So, you can close the ticket here. Thanks.
Best regards, ThomasHi Victoria
For the first question, the website is:
We would like to have the author name, date and amount of comments right after the blog title. Now it’s all at the end of it.
For the second question, the website is:
We would like to have the author name next to the date and amount of comments.
Does this make it better to understand or should I try to explain it in more detail?
Thanks & best regards,
ThomasHi Victoria
thanks for the answer. I found out just during the last days that you offer a mega menu as well. A basic one but still. I will try to go with that one for now. If it is not sufficent for our purpose, then I will check your recommends of the thread. You can close this ticket. Thanks.

Hi Victoria
Thanks for your message.
Your idea is actually a good one. But we are currently not so happy with the burger menue as we are looking into a more visualised menue, similar to wpmegamenue widget.
If I add such a widget to the enfold theme, is there a risk that it get’s messy due to update or interfaces between the codes?Best regards, Thomas
Hi Rikard
I finally found time to work on this idea again.
What we would like to achieve is to have the hamburger menu as a permanent menu but also have two or three menu point being permanently visible. That would be the “online demo” and also also a menu point that leads to our free downloads section.
Would it be possible that we in general make the hamburger menu (which I did set up with a CSS code from an existing support case -> permanent burger menu) and the have these few links or menu points being visible permanent next to the burger menu.
Now when I am writing this. It might be possible to set this few menu points just as links into the header, isn’t it?I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks for your support.

Hi Mike
Thanks a lot for your input.
I made a bitter mistake. I cleaned the cache and also the minifier we have. But in the “preview page” I could still see the categories. When I then changed to the “real” view (the published view) the categories are gone. So I assume this came due to the cache of the browser I am working in. Or there is another cache that is being used at WordPress. I don’t know. What I know, it works now. Thanks a lot. My case is closed.Best regards, Thomas
Hi Mike,
thanks for your message. I tried your css as well. Does not work either. The content in the quick CSS looks like this:#top.archive .big-preview.single-big {
display: none !important;
}
span.blog-categories.minor-meta {
display: none !important;
}
@media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
.responsive #top #wrap_all #header {
position: fixed !important;
}The first and the third css code work all fine. The second doesn’t not. Though I believe it has much more to do with the grid blog than with the little code here.
Best regards, Thomas
Hi Rikard
It works on a single post view. It does not work on the grid blog and also not when I go directly via category to a blog entry. The code is in our quick CSS. I cleared both the cache and the minifier. But it does not take away the categories. I do have another line of code in the CSS, this one works. So I believe it can’t be a collision between minifier and CSS.
Here’s the link where you see the grid blog and the categories:Best regards, Thomas
Hi Mike
Thanks a lot for your reply. The solution with the quick CSS works for us.
I have another issue. The categories are shown below each title of your grid blog.
In the general blog settings I can set ticks if I want them to be shown, but to tick oder untick them doesn’t change. The categories are still shown. I also tried with one input of this support page here to add
span.blog-categories {
display: none;
}
in quick CSS but also this one does not remove the categories shown below the title of each blog.
Can you help me with this one?Best regards,

Thanks for your very fast support! This has solved part of the problem: by adding a separator / whitespace element, now the background image appears. But it is too small (setting is “scale to fit”). Do you know how I can scale it to fit really?
Best regards

Dear Guenni007
Thank you very much for this suggestion. Changing the first few lines of the header.php file of the child theme has fixed the issue!
Best regards
ThomasHi Guenni007
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately adding ?iframe=true does not help. See the first video on the page https://www.runmyaccounts.ch/videos/. I thought it could have something to to with the new handling of css and js in the current release.

ThomasHi
I have deactivated all plugins and reactivated one after the other. It has turned out, that our chat plugin has killed our mobile experience.
Thanks for your fantastic support!
ThomasDear Devin
One more thing: cast_sender.js has something to do with the youtube videos on the front page. If I take the videos away, the error message dispears.
I think it has nothing to do with the behaviour on mobiles.
Best regards
ThomasDear Devin
Thanks for your quick reaction! I can not see this cast_sender.js error in the console. After deactivation of the minification tool I have cleared the cache. I have even restarted the server to be absolutely sure, the cache is empty. I now have deactivated the minification and chaching tool. Maybe you get another result?Best regards
ThomasHi
I have found the problem: this has been triggered through a plugin. So this topic is resolved.
Thanks
ThomasBTW: Why is this resource there when I do not use the font Droid Sans? It gets loaded at least twice on a page…
Dear Yigit
Thanks a lot for your fantastic support! You guys are just great!
Best regards
ThomasHi Yigit
Great, the search icon is now white as well. The thing with the logo does not work – then it is white on any transparent header, also when the background is white. What I would need is to have the white logo only on selected pages, e.g. the start page. Is it possible to handle this as well with css?
Best regards
ThomasDear Yigit
Now using the custom.css works fine. The magnifying glass of the search function is still on the standard color. Could you also provide me with that code? What would I have to do if I needed to change the logo?
Best regards
