March 30, 2020 at 2:07 am in reply to: Missing show socket only option in page footer settings #1198974
I should add:
In Theme Options, I have “Select a page to display as footer & socket” for the site as a whole because the only other option for page based footer is to display no socket. On a small selection of pages in my site, I want to display the page I’ve selected as the footer, just with no socket.
Thanks!
Yikes – me, too. I had fixed multiple sites and now icons are missing again. grrr
That works – thank you!
It seems to be working now. I installed a cache plugin and now it works. I usually have the opposite problem with those. Thank you all for your help!
No, I did not. Since the site is live, I don’t have the code in place, as it messes up that Mega Menu. Does anyone have a fix perhaps? :)
Thanks!
I put it in Custom CSS. Yes, it does work for regular drop downs, like under About and then Adventist Education. But like I said, it then makes the mega menu wacky – like the Campus Life menu. There are usually 3 items under Happenings at VRA – when this code is in place, those are shifted to the column to it’s left, and so on throughout the mega menu.
I had actually already done that, but I’ve decided to go a completely route with displaying their photos. I need it to be easy for the client to do it themselves. Thank you, though! :)
No idea what happened, but it’s working now. :)
That worked – thank you so much! :)
Thank you, but that’s not having any effect.

Nope – not a big deal, but if I add that little snippet in, it all goes haywire. Weird. I’m just not using that snippet. :)
Thank you for your reply. While waiting for the hosting provider to get back to me, I played around some more and discovered that if I remove the below from my Custom CSS in Theme Options, everything works fine. Is there maybe something wrong with the below code?
/* Drop down menu width */ #top .av-main-nav ul { width: 300px !important; } #top .av-main-nav li ul ul { left: -300px !important; }
This reply has been marked as private. It does fix it, but it would be nice to know why it’s happening to me, but not in your demo: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-health-coach/about/.
Thanks for your help. :)
Thank you! That is working as a work-around. However, do you know what’s causing the issue? If i use a grid row that has a different id attached to it, I get the same problem and have to add Custom CSS for that as well. I’ve never had this problem with other sites I’ve built with Enfold.
Thanks!
That gets rid of the bottom border on the header, the shadow, but doesn’t do anything for my issue. When the top bar is active, it’s like it’s hiding the top part of the page content, which in my case, is a grid row in shades of blue, as in the screenshots I sent.
Sure! One screenshot shows the page without the top bar, and you can see the grid row of blue colors at the top of the page below the header. The other screenshot shows the same page, but with the top bar activated – the grid row disappears.
Thanks!

With top bar: http://staging.b3pt.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/top-bar.pngWonderful. Thank you so much!
Yay! I can see it now! No idea what you did, but thank you!
I have tried viewing the website now on multiple computers in different locations – my work, my house, my parents house, friends computers – I’m not able to see the mobile menu anywhere. Everywhere I try it, the background and text are white so the mobile menu is not visible. My client can’t see it on his end, either. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Do you have any ideas what I can try? I can’t see this on my phone, my tablet, my computer, etc. I’ve cleared my browser cache, went into my Windows command prompt and flushed my dns – I still can’t see the menu. The background and text are all white.
Also, when viewing the site on a desktop, if I resize the window to where the mobile menu activates, the same thing happens – you can’t see anything. Are you saying you can see it?
I don’t know what to tell you. I have done that, and have tried on different mobile browsers – still nothing.
Added this, cleared cache – no effect. Mobile menu background is white and so is the icon and text so you can’t read/see anything.
Perfect – thanks!

Thank you so much for your help! I’d been updating the theme via ftp over the top of the old one, so I guess it was leaving the old files in there. Removing everything worked. :)
