Hi Ismael
Thanks for your message. I will give the static blog page a try.
Find here the link you wanted to have: example remove breadcrumb schema from the source code when the blog page is referenced
Best regards,
Franziska
Hi Zimbo,
I had a look at your issue and yes, it looks similar.
Yoast checked it also and they gave me following analysis:
“After reviewing your past conversations, we see the breadcrumb schema is incomplete in certain scenarios. We know how disappointing it is when something doesn’t work. Let’s get this problem sorted for you.The incomplete breadcrumb schema on the example link you provided, https://123?m=0&avia-element-paging=25, contains two parameters. We tested the link with each parameter and found that the m=0 parameter causes the incomplete breadcrumb schema.
After reviewing you site, we were able to reproduce the issue in our local environment. The incomplete breadcrumb schema is caused by having a static homepage but not a static blog page. WordPress allows you to choose static pages under Admin > Settings > Reading which you are not utilizing. Instead, you are using the Enfold theme option to set a static frontpage but did not select a blog page.
To resolve the issue, you have two options:
Create and select a page to be treated as the blog page
Add custom code to remove the breadcrumb schema from the source code when the blog page is referenced. An example of how to do this can be found here. We, also, have a developer portal where you can find more information about filters and even check out some examples of how to use them. Typically code snippets are added to your theme’s functions.php file. If you’re not familiar with using code snippets, we’d like to refer you to the WordPress documentation on how to use a filter.
If you choose the second option and are not comfortable with implementing filters, we highly recommend checking out Code Poet or Codeable.io for available freelance WordPress developers and Human Made for development & consultancy.”Honestly, I do not know how to proceed further in this matter. Search Console continues tossing error reports. I am bit reluctant to do changes on my website that have been working properly until recently. Maybe just wait it out until updates from the theme or the plugin might change the situation? So far, I have not started the validation process with the Search Console …
Best regards,
Franziska

Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your message.
Yoast suggested as one option to create & select a page to be treated as the blog page. I assume you mean this point. Unfortunately, I am not sure whether I fully understand this. I have a page – the homepage – where there is also the module “Blog Posts”. And I have under Settings-Reading not a “Static Page” but “Your Latest Posts” (see screenshot under “Private Content”). Now what should I change, exactly? So much is clear, I do not want to have 2 pages, one with the homepage (without blog posts) & another with the blog posts only. All should be on the homepage only.
Could you enlighten me, please, and indicate how to proceed further.
Thanks and best regards,
Franziska

Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
In the meantime, Yoast support asked their technical support to deal with this matter. They gave me the answer you see under Private Content.
Do I get it right that you can now provide a filter (your last message) to remove the breadcrumb schema from the source code when the blog page is referenced? If yes, how should we proceed further?
Thanks and best regards,
Franziska
Hi Ismael,
Find under Private Content what Yoast support let me know.
Do you a solution for the issue?
Thanks and best regards,
Franziska

Hi Ismael
I have now the report from Yoast Support because of the Breadcrumb issue with the Google Search Console, see private content. What do you suggest? Please inform me if you need access to my website (email address?).
Thanks and best regards,
Franziska
Hi Ismael
Yoast Support wants to know more about the avia element that caused the issue on Google Search Machine (see private content). Could you please advise.
Thanks and best regards,

Hi Ismael
Thanks for your answer. No, I have not started the validation process (as the issue is not fixed). Yoast support tells me that there are issues with my website. Find the text below.
I also included a screenshot of the issue below.
Thanks for your help.

FranziskaHi Jordan,
Thanks, you can close the topic.
Best regards, FranziskaHi Rikard
Thanks for your answer. It was a problem with the Yoast plugin. There were three updates on one day! I was a bit too fast, apparently!
Best regards, FranziskaOne more remark: the links to the categories has “category” in them after “swisstraveler.net”. If you omit this, then it works. How so?
Could there be a connection to Yoast? I have the premium version but the other is still on my plugin list. And I think I updated one today.Hi Rikard
Thank you very much, I get it now and adjusted H1 & H2.
As a consequence, I have a problem with the font size in the mobile’s slider on the home page only (it is fine on the desktop version). When I changed the H2 to 26px, the font size in the slider became too large. When I changed it again to 18px, it was just right. How come? But I need the H2 to be 26 px and the font size in the mobile’s slider 18px. What is to do? Could you advise please.

Thanks for your reply.
Do you mean: Select an element to customize: All headings (H1-H6) – Font Weight? Funnily enough, this section appears twice with my website, the one at the top says Font Weight Default, the one further down says Font Weight 200. What is this supposed to mean? I made the Font Weight 200 with both sections, but nothing happened. What shall I do?
Thank you.
Best regards, FranziskaHi Ismael
No problem, thanks for solving the font size issue!
While you are at it, I spotted another thing to improve. It is in the “Leave a Reply” section of the single post in the mobile version. Here you cannot read the “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment” properly. Could you help with this one, too?
Thank you!

Yes, of course. Is the link in the private box what you meant?

I did now add the code at the top of quick css and cleared the cache on all devices (I assume you mean the browsers’ cache …). Still, everything remains as it was, the blog titles in the slider on the mobile (I cleared the cache here as well) are still too large. What do you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the code but it did not work, neither in Enfold>General Styling>Quick CSS nor in Enfold>Appearance>Customize>Additional CSS. No change whatsoever … What shall I do?
Thank you!

Thanks for your fast answer. They look okay on the computer but they are much too large on the mobile (you even cannot see the whole title). Maybe one should only make them smaller on the mobile?

Thanks again, the code worked fine, the mobile social media icon issue is now settled!
As to my problem of the too large font size of the blog titles on the front page (in the feature content slider), could you please advise on a code how to make these titles smaller.
Thanks and best regards, FranziskaFebruary 25, 2020 at 6:13 pm in reply to: Social media icons appearance on computer & mobile #1187804Hi Victoria,
Thanks, that worked fine! Could you provide an additional code so that the social media icons also appear in the footer, please!
Jordan indicated on codes for changing font sizes for blog titles on the front page and on the single page, which did not work but I managed to solve that myself. I still have an issue with the font size of blog titles, and this is in the featured image slider I have on the front page. Could you advise on a code how to change it, it has to be smaller. That would be great!
Many thanks!
Best regards, FranziskaFebruary 24, 2020 at 7:38 pm in reply to: Social media icons appearance on computer & mobile #1187477Hi Jordan,
The social icons are okay on the computer now (I have it in the header, in the top bar – in the secondary menu – and in the footer).
As to the mobile, they appear in the top bar – in the secondary menu -, but only the lower half of them. Here I want them to be, but of course in the way you can see them completely (not only the lower half of them). In addition, they appear also in the menu and logo section. Here I want them to be removed.
I hope, you understand what I mean. I cannot send you a screenshot via the img function, I don’t have an URL for pictures …
Thanks.
Best regards, FranziskaFebruary 24, 2020 at 5:32 pm in reply to: Social media icons appearance on computer & mobile #1187414It’s me again, sorry …
I solved the problem with the social icons that are too dark, too large and separated with small bars (changed setting with advance styling, small bar above main menu, that I had set earlier …).
I still have the issue with the social icons on the mobile, i.e. they appear twice in the header …
And I still want the font size of the blog titles on the front page and the single page to be reduced.
Thanks for your kind attention!
Cheers, FranziskaFebruary 24, 2020 at 2:12 pm in reply to: Social media icons appearance on computer & mobile #1187344Hi again,
Don’t bother with the issue mentioned under P.S. I found the code for “back to the top” on the mobile and it works just fine.
Another problem occurred in the meantime. Could you please advise on the code for making the font size for the post titles smaller (slider and single page).
Thanks!
