Its all good. Please close the topic. Thank you!!
Thank you, that did it :)
Actually, is it possible to make that code only apply to the home page. It looks like it has taken away the padding on the bulleted list on the itinerary pages The left 1/3 column has a Left Padding of 10px that now seems to have disapeared.

February 19, 2019 at 10:21 pm in reply to: mixed content error "image with insecure url" on installation of ssl certificate #1069135Thank you for the links. I followed the WP Beginner tutorial manual setup procedures and they worked. For anyone else reading this, I am a decent amateur at WP. It took a little time but was pretty straight forward to follow step by step. I checked the site in Why No Padlock which was a handy checker tool.
Thanks again – Susi
February 14, 2019 at 7:09 pm in reply to: mixed content error "image with insecure url" on installation of ssl certificate #1067110Hi Victoria, I purchased the SSL Certificate through my web host Arvixe and they installed it. Then left me with the Why No Padlock link and it not working. The only thing I have done, was as Alex suggested above, and changed the “WordPress to https ……. General settings, it was still http.
In my Control Panel the Softaculous Apps installer shows my sites as http ……. wondering if there is more I need to do in there or if its all through the WP Dashboard?
There were Admin Access details with the original post and I have copied them again below – hope that is whats required:) Also the link to ‘Why No Padlock’ which shows the images as you say with http. I tried uploading a new image and it still uploads as http.
Thank you – Susi

Do you think if I change it to https it will fix the problem or am I missing something else. Wondering if I need to do more in Control Panel? Also if I make the change will I have problems getting back into the WP Admin? I guess I just add the https to that too?

July 15, 2017 at 8:00 pm in reply to: mobile menu after update overlays on logo and easy slider #821803Hi,
I have changed the Main Menu as suggested and it looks like it works. Just one quick question ….. There is an orange bar/line under the active page menu heading. I can’t find where to change that (have tried to find a solution on other support threads). Its looks ok on the Hover but the bar/line looks like it is just floating when you look at especially the Home page menu. http://discoveryjourneys.com
Im thinking this can be solved easily ??? else should I open a new thread? I’ll be back at work on a boat tonight and out of phone service for a week.

July 15, 2017 at 7:07 pm in reply to: mobile menu after update overlays on logo and easy slider #821771Mike,
Thanks for the quick comeback (it works on my phone now too) and the link to clearing the cache. I was confused clearing the cache. I didn’t know if you had to do it on your phone. But I assume you do it on the laptop. I had tried it. On my Safari screen rather than say ‘Remove all website data’ it says ‘Manage Website Data’ and there is nothing in that box. I had clicked in Safari under the Develop Tab/Empty Caches …. don’t know if that is the same thing?
I see what you mean re the Main Menu and I’m not that WordPress savy so I just created what worked initially. I will go into Appearance/Menus/Create New Menu and save as you say. Hope it works.
Thank you – Susi
July 15, 2017 at 5:35 pm in reply to: mobile menu after update overlays on logo and easy slider #821745Hi Victoria,
Thank you but it didn’t work in the Quick CSS and I’m not sure I found the custom.css file. In the Themes / Editor I went to the Child Theme (is this right) and could only see Styles.css – I tried the code there but it did not work. I then went into Themes/Enfold Child/ and clicked the Customize button then the Additional CSS Tab which then says you can add your own css ….. I tried the code here but it did not work either. Can you help me find the Custom.css file ?? And am I supposed to be using the Enfold Child or just Enfold?

September 20, 2016 at 4:48 am in reply to: Table with different column widths and row background color #688911Hi Ismael, thank you, you guys & Enfold are great. that worked so beautifully for the column width.
Is it possible to isolate a row in a similar way as you did the columns to add a background color to a particular row? If yes could you give me example code for a line in each table. Then i could copy/adjust the code for different rows to add color to rows as needed (the idea is we’d like to have rows of booked trips be one color and trips on hold be another and the 100% open trips can stay white).
The help is really appreciated. Susi
Hi there,
It wouldn’t even let me into the install screen. I was at the point of paying someone to take a look at the site but ended up deleting everything and reinstalling WordPress and Enfold theme. It may have been the long way of doing things but the site was still under construction. Now I have a clean slate that at least I feel i can rely on. I’ll keep on top of the updates now i know the dire consequences.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Yigit,
Thanks for the comeback. I followed your instructions and updated to the current version which was 3.4.2. It seems like the update went through ok. In the WP Admin Dashboard under Theme Update I then had the message:
“A new Version (3.4.2) of your Parent Theme (Enfold) is available! You are using Version 3.4.2.
Do you want to update? ((Yes weird!! you can see screenshot at http://aclassicyacht.com/activities/zz/ )I did click on Update Now to see what it would do and it bumps me to the same “Nothing Found”screen.
Shortly thereafter Enfold Version 3.4.3 was released and the Update Screen did show new update available, i.e.:
Update Available!
A new Version (3.4.3) of your Parent Theme (Enfold) is available! You are using Version 3.4.2.
Do you want to update?but same result when I try to update it goes to Nothing Found screen.
Do you think it is a WordPress problem?? Please let me know if you have any suggestions on what to try next. My only thought is to reinstall WordPress [but first I have to get FileZilla working (am overseas) which doesn’t like the IP address of router i am now behind] then look for professional WP help.
Thanks again for your time – Susi

April 15, 2015 at 6:10 pm in reply to: Left and right margin for Grid so Background images display correctly #429122Adding to the reply above which I’m waiting for a response on.
To clarify it lines up perfectly with the 70px margin on the desktop view. Just thinking now that I have the code to make the Grid 90% (same as my Max Container Width setting) it would just need to be center aligned on the page to make it work across all screen sizes.
Thanks
April 15, 2015 at 5:57 pm in reply to: Left and right margin for Grid so Background images display correctly #429109Hi,
The mobile view code doesn’t seem to work. It doesn’t take away the 70px margin that centers the grid on the desktop.
The code for the desk top view works great.(( I don’t have an iPad so am hoping it will work for that size also.))
** Instead of the 70px margin (which centers the grid on the desk top page) is it possible to tell the 90% width Grid to be “aligned center” – i.e. to center it on the page. Seems like that would solve the problem for all size screens. The 90% width, centered look is what I am trying to achieve.
Thank you – Susi
April 11, 2015 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Left and right margin for Grid so Background images display correctly #427057Hi could this please go to Ismael only please – I am sick of having to go over everything with someone new all the time as i feel i am saying the same thing over and over.
I don’t need the images to snap to the border. The border is only there (on the Home Page grid, and I took it off the first row) to illustrate how I aligned the background images (top right, top center and top left) to get the look i want – which was my first try at it.
If you go to the website http://www.aclassicyacht.com I have uploaded examples/screenshots as described below.
I would like the grid rows (starting with image ‘Alaska Inside Passage’) to look like it does on the Home Page (borders will be turned off). I can’t do it the way I first tried as the aligned background images (right, centered and left aligned) do not work on the mobile phone – you can see this on “Mobile View page).
If you go to the 2nd page on the website main menu “Grid Example” you will see what I can achieve (and I can live with this if I have to. Here all the background images are “top center” aligned.
If you go to the next page “Screenshot” you will see what I would like to change from Grid Example pg to get it to look more like the Home Page.
** I do really appreciate your help. Sorry that It seems to have turned into more of an issue than it should be.
Thank you – Susi
April 10, 2015 at 5:53 pm in reply to: Left and right margin for Grid so Background images display correctly #426674Hi Elliott
I don’t think your suggestion works – unless i am missing something? How do I get Background Images into the 3x 1/3 columns??????????????? Background images is what I am trying to do here. The Grid seems like the only element where I can do this?
Im not getting the point of a Color Section here – it seems like I can only get one background image into that.
Can I just get a Yes or No answer to the question “Is it possible to put a margin on the Grid Element, i.e. Can you give me code that will indent the Grid Element ( by the same amount from the left and right side of the page) by either a px (say 100px) amount or a % amount (say 10%)
Thank you – Susi

Yes I did play around with the column element but ended up liking the look of the Heading over the shaded area on the background image better than a Heading above the images. There is no way to use a background image in a say Text Block right? I want the Headings to count towards SEO/keywords etc so didn’t want to create an image with text and upload it as a jpeg.
If there is a short piece of code that would bump the Grid element (for all pages is ok) that 10% making it act like a column element could you give me that. That would also line up the grey background color on the About Us/The Yacht Discovery page.
Else I will make do with what is available.
Thank you – Susi
