That was successful – thanks.
Hi
The code I posted in the private setting is the full code given by facebook to insert in the header.
When you give me the function can you include absolutely everything I need to put in the header.php file
ThanksDecember 13, 2021 at 11:00 am in reply to: Site broken by breadcrumbs – functions php code after latest theme update #1332551Thanks – problem solved.
Perhaps the docs page I referenced above could be updated?Yes – do close this – the issue is sorted.
Thanks for the helpWell I wouldn’t have believed it but it was the user account.
Never heard of that kind of thing before.
Thanks for nailing this one for me.How very odd. You are seeing something quite different to me. I have tried viewing in different browsers chrome, firefox, safari and edge, and can’t replicate what you are seeing. I’m wondering how you view the site? Hos is it possible that you see a totally different right sidebar in the admin area to me?
The odd thing is that my sisters site is doing the same thing as mine. Even odder is that this issue does not appear now on my custom posts after the support was added in the functions php – it now appears only on the pages.
It seems the meta boxes are not active on pages as I view them.
I’m stumped.
.Hi
I have taken a couple of screen shots and put them with some explaining notes. Link below.
ThanksHi Rikard
The Layout option meta box on my pages has the same thing going on as was happening with the posts. It is not appearing on the left but a custom field box is appearing below all the options in the admin area which appears to have some of the settings in.Hi Rickard
Thanks so much.
Is there an easy way to enable the meta box Layout Option for pages?Hi
Thanks for getting back to me.
Some further information
On ‘pages’ there is a custom field appearing below the the avia builder and some other items that has the options for header transparency and layout in it.
This custom field option is not appearing on the custom post pages.
The only thing I can think of that might relate to this is that I did install and uninstall a custom fields plugin (without setting anything up) a while back, but can’t pin this problem down in time to that so it’s just a maybe.
I have tried deactivating all the plugins and the one thing I did notice on doing this is that a lot more options appear in the ‘custom field’ box at the bottom of the page. Also interesting some pages are still displaying a sidebar but there is no way to control this now.

Duh!
ThanksYay! It’s working – thanks. I managed to update my other Enfold site with same problem using the development version too.
All sorted.Hi Sorry – didn’t read your request properly.
FTP details attachedHi
Thanks. I have resent the login details below. Thanks That half worked but did not solve the problem. I get the expand avia layout button now on my pages but they all have the same problem as the custom posts in that the layout builder is not displaying properly and overlaid by the left wordpress menu and the yoast tab. this makes the layout builder unusable.

Thanks.
Did the above. Replacing the avf_builder_boxes in the functions.php file with the avf_alb_supported_post_types filter has sorted the problem.
viewed a custom post and the problem was solved,
The old avf_builder_boxes code in the functions.php was breaking the custom post types after updating the enfold theme.
Problem solved. Phew.January 15, 2021 at 5:59 pm in reply to: Custom Post Types – Colour Sections Not Displaying Correctly #1272795Hi
Brilliant. Thanks for getting back to me on this. Login details supplied as private content.
I have left the old staging site as it was without updating the plugins, wordpress or enfold.
I have also taken full backups of both the staging and the live sites and also have very easy backup reinstall option with my host so in the event of anything unforeseen happening just email me and I will roll it back.
Thanks again
SuSame here, although I can see someone from support has logged in .
Update – Hope you got your problem got sorted.
Support has now sorted my issue and another small detail since, so I feel happy.- This reply was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by Sujohn.
January 14, 2021 at 4:59 pm in reply to: Custom Post Types – Colour Sections Not Displaying Correctly #1272463OK so here’s where I am now –
I’m not certain but I think I have now narrowed this down to some kind of conflict between the Enfold theme (4.7.6.5) and custom post types.
1. On the old staging version of my site using version 4.5.3 of Enfold works fine before and after I have updated to today’s date all the plugins and wordpress (to 5.6).
2. If I update Enfold to version 4.7.6.5 before (or after doing all the other updates) the custom post types are broken.
3. The custom post types remain broken if I deactivate my child theme (containing all the custom css and php)
4. The custom post types remain broken after deactivating all the plugins so I think I have ruled out plugins as the problem.January 13, 2021 at 6:16 pm in reply to: Custom Post Types – Colour Sections Not Displaying Correctly #1272237This reply has been marked as private.October 30, 2019 at 9:55 pm in reply to: All posts displaying colour section as a huge background covering whole page #1152523An update here – I decided to roll back quite some way. and the problem seems to be resolved. Now I am not too sure what caused it.
October 30, 2019 at 9:54 pm in reply to: Shortpixel image optimiser plugin interferes with header #1152522Sorry – my mistake the problem does seem to be fixed. Transparent and glassy header got turned off on some pages.
Thanks
SuOctober 30, 2019 at 7:40 pm in reply to: Shortpixel image optimiser plugin interferes with header #1152489Hi
I tried the code but it removes the transparent and glassy header and displays a top white bar with the colour logo. I want to keep the transparent and glassy header.
thanks
SuOctober 30, 2019 at 4:18 pm in reply to: All posts displaying colour section as a huge background covering whole page #1152400Help.
I thought I had fixed this but now the strange behaviour is happening whatever I do.
If I change anything at all on the site the second colour section appears as a background on all custom posts. If I delete the second colour section the first appears as background image over the whole site.I have a back up I can roll back to but can’t do anything with it to correct the behaviour
October 29, 2019 at 10:48 pm in reply to: All posts displaying colour section as a huge background covering whole page #1152165Hi
I decided I couldn’t wait for a response and restored an old back up. I have now nailed the problem so as a warning to othersI used a plugin called ‘Enable Media Replace’. If the settings are set to the option
—————————————————————–
Replace the file, use new file name and update all linksNote: If you check this option, the name and type of the file you are about to upload will replace the old file. All links pointing to the current file (test-hoorn-square.jpg) will be updated to point to the new file name.
———————————————————-
RATHER THAN
———————————
Just replace the fileNote: This option requires you to upload a file of the same type (image/jpeg) as the one you are replacing. The name of the attachment will stay the same (test-hoorn-square.jpg) no matter what the file you upload is called.
It does all that weird stuff to the posts . It totally wrecked all my posts. Fortunately I had a back up from this morning.
January 18, 2019 at 6:51 pm in reply to: Preloader showing placeholder and words 'loading as well as image. #1055601You can close this thread now.
You were right it was a plugin.
The offending plugin was lazy load by WP Rocket.
Thanks
SuJanuary 18, 2019 at 4:35 pm in reply to: Preloader showing placeholder and words 'loading as well as image. #1055499If it is any help I have now set up a staging site to try and nail this issue without damaging the live site.
January 17, 2019 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Preloader showing placeholder and words 'loading as well as image. #1055249Hi
I have tried de-activating all the plugins with no luck.
I cleared all clear all caches before started and did the test in an incognito window.
I then purged all caches before I started turning the plugins on again one by one.
I couldn’t see any change in the behaviour.thanks
SuI deleted and re-uploaded both of the images and the header is now working again.
Thanks
