Hi Vinay,
I did what you suggested but no luck, the fields are still 1/1 and not 1/2 width. I want this:

How do I put a CF7 form in different grids in the advanced layout builder? I have no clue! :)

January 19, 2016 at 11:43 am in reply to: Contact form 7 & Enfold contact form: identical styling #567765Hi Vinay,
Okay thanks again! I guess the main thing is the 1/2 or 1/3 width I want to apply to the form. Can you tell me how to apply the Enfold shortcode for that?
Thanks!

Thanks for your help! I updated the request in the private message.

Can I ask you to do the same thing for me? As you might know from this thread I’m forced to use CF7, but I’m not entirely sure to implement this. I will put the login in the private section. Can you prepare one form for me so I can work out the rest?
Thanks!
DanielThanks for your help Andy, you can close the thread.

DanielHi Andy,
Thanks for answering. I must say that although I see that you’re willing to help, I don’t feel well supported with this issue. With my other issues I feel very well helped. I think it’s strange that you recommend to use an alternative contact form plugin. We have looked together at all opties. All different contact forms all other contact forms work, except for 1: the standard contact form of Enfold, which makes pointing at an issue on the server not an option. I would like to use the Enfold contact form because I think it’s a really user friendly contact form, one that my client will also understand.
Regards,
DanielHi Andy,
I have copy pasted this shortcode, but it doesn’t convert to a contact form. I read on that page: “Available on WordPress.org – If you’re running your own copy of WordPress.org, you can use Jetpack to get the same functionality.” So I understand it’s not a default contact form. I don’t run Jetpack; in fact I don’t have any plugins running.

Hi Andy,
I used – TwentySixteen theme + default comment form to test that, since WordPress does not have a default contact form afaik.
Regards,
DanielHi Vinay, thanks for reopening the issue. The current status is still the same as mentioned in my comment here.

DanielHi Vinay,
We are now testing Contact Form 7. As mentioned before, this works fine. What works fine:
– Enfold theme + Contact Form 7
– Enfold theme + default comment form
– TwentySixteen theme + Contact Form 7
– TwentySixteen theme + default comment formWhat doesn’t work:
– Enfold theme + Enfold contact form
– Enfold theme + Enfold contact form with @gmail.com addressCan we try to fix this together? Anything else I can do?
Daniel

Hi Vinay,
The theme was changed when Andy asked :) I changed it back to the enfold theme, added your shortcode and the contact form 7:
Hi Ismael,
Well, e-mails are sent and received in all cases except when I use the Enfold contact form. If the server would check the existence of this e-mailaddress, none of my e-mails should be delivered.
edit: I created the e-mailaddress but no luck.
Daniel
Hi Andy,
I changed to TwentySixteen, placed a comment and received an e-mail confirmation: http://www.fitzwanger.nl/test/2014/08/24/a-nice-entry/

DanielHi Basilis,
Happy new year! I started the topic and the backend credentials are already in the private sections.
Thanks!
DanielHi! I’ve updated both live site and test site to 3.4.7 of Enfold, tried the mail function again but no luck.
Hi Basilis!
What exactly is going to be solved in the latest issue?
Just installed Contact Form 7 and this is working just fine.Cheers,
DanielI’ve setup a superfresh WP install with Enfold and a demo import. Still the forms aren’t working. Detauls in the private content

I can always use #option1/2/3/4/5 in the URL and it corresponds with whatever is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th value in the select element?
December 9, 2015 at 9:58 am in reply to: Contact Form > Select Element: Preselect option based on URL? #549567Hi Josue,
I’m sorry for not explaining right. Let’s say in the select element I have: option1,option2,option3.
http://url_to_contact_page/#option1
http://url_to_contact_page/#option2
http://url_to_contact_page/#option3This works. But I have in the select element: Bodyfit\, 12-12-2015\, 10:30u-12:00u,Bodyfit\, 18-12-2015\, 10:30u-12:00u,Bodyfit\, 01-01-2016\, 14:30u-17:00u,Fitzwanger\, 12-12-2015\, 10:30u-12:00u,Fitzwanger\, 18-12-2015\, 10:30u-12:00u,Fitzwanger 12-01-2016 14:30u-17:00u
The URL http://url_to_contact_page/#Fitzwanger+12-01-2016+14:30u-17:00u should select the last one in the select element, but it doesn’t.
December 9, 2015 at 9:24 am in reply to: Contact Form > Select Element: Preselect option based on URL? #549561What I mean is that using for example “New Year, 2015-12-31 at 23:59″ in the URL so it will be pre-selected doesn’t work.
December 8, 2015 at 4:08 pm in reply to: Contact Form > Select Element: Preselect option based on URL? #548818Yeah, this works! Awesome! :) One last thing is my options contain comma’s and spaces, e.g. “New Year, 2015-12-31 at 23:59”. I’ve tried %20 but they aren’t accepted.
December 8, 2015 at 11:52 am in reply to: Contact Form > Select Element: Preselect option based on URL? #548659Hi Josue,
Wow, what a great service, thanks! I’ve put the links in the private content section.

Thanks for this! I don’t know Javascript well enough to get this to work, but I will try anyway. Any more tips are more than welcome! :)

December 7, 2015 at 4:33 pm in reply to: Stretch image with Grid Row + Media Element: Image vs Easy slider #548077Hi Yigit,
Dimensions:
Browser window width: 2560
Browser window height: 1338I understand that only a small percentage of users actually use this screen size, but I’d rather use smaller images than 1500px width.
December 7, 2015 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Stretch image with Grid Row + Media Element: Image vs Easy slider #548020Hi Yigit,
I understand image quality will be lower but that’s okay. The admin credentials are in the hidden fields.
Thanks, Daniel
