Hi Ismael,
I did as you said (disable CSS file merging and compression,
disable Javascript file merging and compression and disable “Dynamic Caching” from SG Optimizer) and the slider reappeared!
On a closer look, the only setting that has an influence is the “Javascript file merging and compression”. When it’s enabled, the slide does not display and when it’s disabled, the slide works.
The three items are currently disabled (CSS, Javascript and dynamic caching).
What could be going on with the Javascript compression?
Anyone?
This slider is the first thing a user is supposed to see on my homepage and it’s embarrassing that it does not work.
If it can’t be fixed easily, please tell me so I can find an alternative solution.
I had another look at the problem and I can’t fix it by myself.
I tried disabling all the plugins, reloaded the page but that did not change anything.
I tried purging the cache and it did not change anything.
I tried creating a new post with both Fullwidth Easy Slider and Easy Slider and none of them show up!
That explains why! Thanks for the clarifications.
