Thanks for your help with this.

I had a look through the forum and found the codes for the results I was after.

I have listed them below –

To change icon colour in icon box I used

.iconbox_icon.heading-color.avia-font-entypo-fontello {

color:  #58585a;

}

To change the colour of the post heading in a side bar I used

.main_color .newsbox .news-headline {

color: #58585a;

}
