yes it is working with the default editor using shorcode, just pasted it in there and previewed changes and i could see it playing in the broswer !!
unfortunatly up to now , the [layerslider id=”5″] is apprearing as is in the text block as well on the rendered page! (as shortcode text in the browswer window) Something special that i have to do to tell the textblock element that this is a shortcode !!!
oups i think i talked very soon, … it’s loading page contect but in the advanced page editor we no longer have the drag and drop icon for advanced layer slider !! is this a normal behavior after updating the layerslider or something broke somewhere !!!

something broke the pages editor section (not the layer editor, i can create layers with the layerslider 5 that i just activated, but can’t put it on the page as when you click on pages, then a certain page, like about us or any other, it doesn’t show the contect to edit !! and load indefinitly), please help

the endless loading is not in the layer itself, it’s on the regular page editor, the advanced page editor is no longer working, the page is loading endlessly and we can’t modify the pages to either add the images, layerslider, text,…
i found the answer for my last question, but unfortunatly even so, i wouldn’t know how to link to another slider just using the href of my html instead of the provided quick link of the layerslider that uses “#2” to link to slider number 2 in this case. so i wont go with this solution

i have a question about an image in a layer slider!! how can i use a html mapping to have only some area of the image clickable ? like in this exemple

anyway i could have just a specific layer animation looped without looping the whole slide in the advanced layerslider ?? any trick?? let’s say i wanted a lens flare layer to go up and down in a loop but without the whole slide animation going on again ??

oh what i meant is when we do an update on the website, if right after my friend oversea tries to view the page is he going to keep seeing the cached page from his computer for days, does he need to do a refresh from the browser, is there a plugin or a code to virtually change the link of a page so that when it’s updated , it get requested from the server rather than having the same copy of the cached file !!. because when i do a change i have to refresh,,, but if someone don’t know there have been a change, he might just launch the page and keep seeing outdated information for days up until the cache times exprires depending on browsers!! am i correct ?

any idea of how i can do so that when i do update on my website, the updated version of it can be presented to the broswer requesting it instead of the cached version?
anyway to bypass caching, or put some code in metatag that prevent it from being chached… because i don’t want to change the folder name everytime i do an update to get the browser request a fresh page !thx

I’ve been trying to insert a progress bar in a layerslider as described in this thread, but I’m just getting a text and a square and nothing more, not even a bar to begin with, any Idea? did someone got it working ?
